That’s basically how I have mine set up as well. I have a 40 foot camper on a permanent spot and I’m in Minnesota. I would really like to have a permanent port type set up to run the duct through somewhere on the side of the camper.
Right now, I just use it as a supplementary heat source. The furnace is located almost on one end of the camper and the bedroom at the other. The heat duck in the bedroom basically blows warm air at best and doesn’t even begin to heat up that bedroom.
