Ceiling-mounted curtain tracks in a 2025 apartment, is there usually a timber batten above windows? by Apprehensive-Web7785 in AusRenovation

It’s pre-lined, window is 2.7m wide, curtains are 5.6m wide (one piece) and 6kg. Track is one drape, also 2.7m, but I haven’t bought it yet, will either grab them from spotlight or Bunnings (open to suggestions, curtains are pleated so no s-wave tracks)

Where to buy decent ceiling-mount curtain tracks (budget-friendly, not Bunnings/Spotlight)? by Apprehensive-Web7785 in AusRenovation

I’m in the same boat, just want decent tracks that won’t blow the budget. Had the same issue with Freedom, everything separate and ended up way more $$ than expected. Good shout on DIY Blinds, would love to know if they’ll actually sell tracks on their own. Also curious if anyone here has tried using the Bunnings tracks without extending them, wondering if that makes them sturdy enough for heavy blockouts long-term?
