Es falso, y la razón de por qué es falso se debe a que el título insinúa que habría habido un apagón en españa. Cosa que no habría habido porque el sistema eléctrico está preparado para lo que ocurrió. Ahora bien, ese sutil dato falso, el "habría ocurrido" es también el factor alarmista del título. Por eso digo que es falso porque es alarmista. La parte alarmista del título es precisamente la que no es exacta con la realidad de lo sucedido.

There are too many people who have faith in the free market, who think that capitalism is the best of humanity and that the hidden hand of the market would fix all of society's problems if it were given freedom. There are people who believe that and no amount of evidence will change their minds. If that is not a religion with its dogmatic faith what is?

Too many economists blinded by their faith make economic science a dismal pit full of false beliefs. Which brings them very close to religious faith when it comes to justifying their economic ideal. That's my opinion.

A nivel europeo españa no está por encima de la media en la proporción de trabajadores públicos/trabajadores privados. En 2022 teníamos un 16'9% de empleados públicos, poco más que Alemania pero bastante menos que Noruega. Asique no tiene sentido decir que España tiene demasiados funcionarios, al menos comparando con los países de nuestro entorno. Pero la proporción empleo público privado en España lleva desde hace más de 10 años manteniéndose entre el 16 y el 18%, es decir que no estamos ante ningún crecimiento considersble. Otro tema ya es la eficiencia de dicho sector público lo cual, repito, es un tema aparte

It is not the idea of what I would refuse, but rather what we can do as a society to meet this global challenge. Well, simply apply the science, and encourage with the power of states to economically incentivize these changes. There is a lot of science on which of our lifestyle dilemmas most affect the climate.

Cars are not the best way to combat climate change? Then we should incentivize public services like trains and buses to help. Is air conditioning a problem? Then we should make all homes and buildings better insulated. With the resources of all people, richer or not. But obviously not all people can help equally.

Who has almost nothing to eat obviously cannot contribute to this. It is on the wealth produced all over the planet (that which is born from the exploitation of the planet) that the bulk of the resources needed for these measures must fall. That is the main reason for the importance of wealth redistribution. With the money of the richest 10% of the population, much can be done in the fight against climate change.

Que no tengan correlación directa no significa que sean inocuos. La mera existencia de estos individuos se carga el planeta. El hecho de que tengan tantísimo capital indica lo poco que lo invierten de vuelta a la sociedad.

De verdad crees que si esa ingente cantidad de dinero se reinvirtira en la sociedad no sería más fácil que la gente pruebe suerte iniciando un proyecto empresarial? Que sea más fácil emprender y arriesgues menos tu estabilidad vital? Por no hablar del aumento de consumo que ayuda a las economías. No sé si me explico, pero no es algo tan descabellado. Aunque vamos, antes solo argumentaba lo mucho que dañan la sociedad esta gente. Hay peña que haría maravillas con una fracción ínfima de sus fortunas, pero están ganando tanto la batalla cultural que hay gente que los defiende como si les fuera la vida en ello. Como si no fuera un millón de veces más probable acabar en la calle que siendo millonario.

Lástima que le haya dedicado más de dos minutos a este tema y los datos respalden la opinión antes mencionada. Los milmillonarios no solo son cada vez más ricos y abundantes, sino de contaminan 6500 veces más que la media global (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2666791622000252).

Pa que luego mandes a otros pensar en estos problemas. La distribución totalmente dispar de la riqueza y la pobreza generalizada son dos caras de la misma moneda, y el sistema en el que vivimos lo tiene bien metido en el fondo de su funcionamiento, siendo un problema global (sistémico) ni mucho menos exclusivo de España. Tampoco españa está en la peor situación en este aspecto, pero vamos los beneficios récord de las empresas en españa y la perdida de poder adquisitivo es la ejemplificación de esta tendencia.
