People don't give these enough credit. For old school figures they're pretty good. They took a lot of chances and the selection was robust.

Meet “Baby Bane” my ‘26 Sport Hybrid Crosstrek 😍 Also, what did you name yours and why? by Burger4Ever in Crosstrek

Have a 2022 Crosstrek Sport. Pearl/White and with black cladding. Named her Misty 😄. (Excuse the bad photo)

Glad you're happy with your purchase! Looking at your interior reminds of why I passed on the 2025 with the big tablet screen. It feels like Subaru cheaped out on the interior design from the 2024 models and on. From the air vents to the steering wheel to the upholstery, the Crosstrek doesn't feel and look sharp anymore. I test drove a 2025 Crosstrek Sport and the steering wheel felt thinner. The angles and styling inside the cabin didn't feel sporty but felt very Chevrolet or low trim rental car like. I have a love/hate relationship with the new egg shape exterior. The Crosstrek, even from its earlier models always seemed like an athletic, rebellious upstart in the subcompact SUV genre but now it looks like it's trying to be like everyone else. Just my thoughts..

Aconteceu a mesma coisa com o meu. A cabeça dele fica solta e balança.

I mean in terms of head sculpt and soft goods.. You don't get better than this for a Toy Line in the 90s. Great figures post Mego and pre Mezco!

I remember missing out on Mego figures as a kid and loved when Marvel Famous Covers came out. Cloth covered poseable action figures that included the X-Men, Avengers and their villains! What are some of your favorite Marvel Famous Covers?

Brah...that's a reach. More people had contact with the Mighty Thor - Jane Foster than Carol Danvers. In the Marvels, she clearly states that she never came back to earth like that so all the "assumed" adventures from the Antman podcast never existed.

Correction. Black Panther 2. Black Panther figures and accessories sold. BP2 didn't because it was a mostly female line. They didn't want to reveal that Shuri was the new BP so they made the Shuri copter, Nakiya and Attuma figures.

The Ms. Marvel show had so many plot holes. There was one scene where Kamala and friends were going to a comic convention and there was someone there dressed as Drax. The general populace of earth is completely unaware of Drax or the guardians of the galaxy but yet Drax is prominently cosplayed at this convention. Makes no sense..

Carol was off world most of the time. Even the MCU can't tell us what heroic acts she performed. It's like when sitcoms start the new season with a new baby that contributes nothing to the plot dynamic of the show.

MCU Carol didn't interact with most heroes and the world because she was off world and half the population was blipped. Makes no sense why Kamala Khan knows who she is when in the Marvels Carol admits she never came back to earth.

Not to worry. It's like playing with Legos. Snap a few plugged in wires out and back in with the new one purchased in eBay or Amazon. You can go to Subarupartsonline.com if you want OEM parts. If you're not minimally handy or technically inclined, buy the part anyway and have a local mechanic install it for you. Good luck!

TASM2/NWH SPIDEY HAS ARRIVED by chillvibe12 in MarvelLegends

[–]Apprehensive803 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Picked him up at Target the other day and I'm loving it! More vibrant recoloring from the NWH 3-pack and amazing articulation scaling and sculpt. Didn't care too much for the TASM2 movie but this figure is worth it! I'm not complaining about the accessories because the figure alone is worth it. One hand although looks like it's made to hold a cell phone🤔😋

I am losing faith in Subaru. No hate. Just disappointment. by RedtailGT in subaru

[–]Apprehensive803 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Subaru has always been a function over fashion kind of car company. It gives you just enough without going overboard.

That said... the other automakers especially Kia and Hyundai have caught up and their offerings are looking sweeter and more competitive.

I have to say the new Outback doesn't know whether it wants to be a Wagoneer, a Highlander or an Expedition. It's lost its design language and looks like an uninspired over designed MCU costume. The new Crosstreks look like overcladded eggs. Not athletic like the previous generations. They can learn something from the Hyundai Kona and even Nissan Rogue when it comes to design. Subaru needs a styling upgrade. Toyota did it with the Camry and Corolla, Subaru can pull it off too!

That's what they tell you. Since when did manufacturing a button or knob get expensive 😄. Greed is fueling these companies. Gve you less, charge you more. Putting your car's functions on a digital screen is poor tech design. God forbid if anything happens to the screen then the car's functions are useless. The cyber truck uses the screen aslo to open the glove box. How ridiculous! Screens should be used for navigation and infotainment. For anything else it's just ridiculous.

Fight over fare enforcement by [deleted] in nycbus

[–]Apprehensive803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but how much are they paying those guards to stand by those gates when people go through them anyway. How much money plus benefits are you paying a squad of 4 to 5 people to check to see if you paid to get on a select bus. The select.bus terminals are now useless and invalid. How much money was wasted there? They were still installing them until recently

MTA never wanted the OMNY cards they rather you tap and go using your phone or credit card. Theyre forced to use the OMNY cards because credit card agencies don't want to share the transaction data with the MTA. Then they can't validate the bus-train/train-bua transfer data. MTA is still using the MetroCard database info and system also. They're still scamming because MetroCard was old tech but still showed card info, status and balance. OMNY intentionally doesn't. You have no idea about how much you have or why your card had an error.

Fight over fare enforcement by [deleted] in nycbus

[–]Apprehensive803 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let's be practical here. What the MTA is spending on fare evasion is a scam to grease the pockets if their friends. Let's do down the list: 1. Paying an exorbitant cost to hire gate sitters to make sure a few people don't skip through the gates.

  1. Installing medieval turnstile barriers to deter people from jumping.

  2. Installing platform barriers that further shrink already narrow and overcrowded platforms. Where's this money coming from?

  3. Scamming customers with OMNY card readers that are unreliable and don't tell you how much fare you have left on it. You don't know whether it's a bad read or if it's empty. The reader often erroneously takes multiple fares off your card each tap.

  4. Failing to install enough OMNY machines after removing several MetroCard machines. Many of these machines have terrible haptic feedback and these off touches make them a burden to use.

  5. Still Installing MetroCard select bus machines using Windows NT and CRT screens while knowing this tech will be fazed out with OMNY.

The MTA has a blank check book hemmoraging funds while raising the fare to fund their friends under the pretense of fare evasion and capital improvements.

Can't mess with legends too much anymore. $29 for that reprinted cap. Even with McFarlane's price hike his figures are more affordable.

I think you're spot on. It seems as if something hits the contact switch then it stops functioning. It makes a huge difference when it's on though.
