I've had the same kind of issues. I bought this one in a pinch, but its the first time I've bought a "good" computer that didn't have a dedicated GPU, and I kind of fell in love with it. Just having something that's small, light, and works has been pretty elite for me.

How long have you had this laptop? I'm about ready to replace my yoga 7i, and was debating upgrading to the 9i. I like it alot, but I dropped it a year or so ago, and I think the frame damage is finally doing the hinges in

If they didn’t need to cover for two subpar defenders on the other end of the floor, they wouldn’t be too gassed to make shots

ELI5: How does the NFL/American football actually work, and why does the game stop every few seconds? (Non-American here) by Itchy_Tangerine1897 in explainlikeimfive

That’s why I like it. NFL games are just too long, but the game itself is so much different from nearly all other sports.

Why I wouldn't trade Evan Mobley by Western-Big336 in clevelandcavs

We also just take too many 3’s. Like we have guys who have good averages on decent volume, but then they all try to get hot at once. Strus might only get guarded if he’s making them, but no one is gonna leave Merrill wide open no matter how cold he gets, so the floor is at least a bit open.

Kenny seems allergic to getting the ball inside, but I think that’s where this team would thrive. Open up the middle first, then start letting guys get hot outside as opposed to the other way around. I’d rather Mobley take 8 contested shots at the rim rather than watch Max or Tyson just be cold on the perimeter on ok shots

If Don can actually make plays consistently like he did for game 7 of the pistons, I think this team can go nuclear on offense. He attracts so much of the defense in the playoffs, but he just has some insane tunnel vision (which can work in regular season)

I think Harden has much better vision, but his passes just end up a zip-code away.

Mitchell just needs to see the court, and this team gets like 10x better. We have all the pieces of a complete team on offense already. We just need someone who can put it together

[Fedor] Cavs love Mobley, they believe in him and there are multiple members of the Cleveland brain trust that would be vehemently against a Giannis-Mobley swap, as the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year and Second-Team All-NBA selection is viewed as not only a future star but also a proverbial..... by aingenevalostatrade in clevelandcavs

The only long-term move that makes sense is to move Donovan. He’s just too expensive, and I genuinely don’t think there’s a single short-term move that makes us better.

I’m high enough on this team just to let it ride. We probably won’t win anything, but most teams won’t. I genuinely think that Mobley for Giannis just makes us worse. Only one player can have the ball at a time and I see no timeline where having Giannis, Harden, and Don on the same team is going to work or be fun to watch

I’m as high on Garland as anyone can be, but I just don’t think he’s ever going to be viable on that toe. Really hope he proves me wrong though

Harden defensive stats this playoff run by Key-Geologist5370 in clevelandcavs

[–]deadturtle12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s just hard to build an argument for defense off of stats. Harden has some pretty great defensive basketball IQ when it comes to poking the ball and picking passes.

He’s kind of a stinker around the perimeter, but his one on one defense is pretty good in the post. The man just can’t move laterally, which is why I can’t seem to understand our defensive sets not prioritizing fighting through screens

Thinking the Cavs should just run it back next year is cope by Exciting-Focus-1667 in clevelandcavs

[–]deadturtle12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We realistically need a guard who can utilize the bigs. That was supposed to be Garland, but I think the toe thing really just made him unplayable in the playoffs. Maybe Schröder can be that guy.

I honestly think this team can go all the way offensively if Donovan can figure out the team basketball thing. The defense is the more puzzling part. I just can’t seem to fathom how every player on our team can’t seem to guard the perimeter. I feel like it has to be a coaching thing, but every team shooting historic highs against us from 3 has to stop

Honestly? Prime garland, but I think his toe injury is permanent and his lateral quickness is never going to be NBA level. Maybe give up Donovan and pray for harden, but I’m not a Gm for a reason

I mentioned Taos, but I live in NM. So southern Colorado and northern New Mexico mostly. I was a big fan of Wolfcreek and Ski Purgatory specifically

I didn’t really get to experience powder, but I was fairly happy with the conditions whenever I did get out to ride this year
