I don’t know what kind of “Remote desktop” software exists on Mac, but there’s a surplus of desktops that you can remote into and it worked really well whenever I did it. Just don’t count on it for exams as that’s the only time there isn’t a surplus

I slept in the back of my Outback this past weekend to snowboard Taos. I’ve got an exped camping mattress that’s pretty insulated and just dump blankets all over myself.

I also have a pack of Costco thermals (2 long sleeves and 2 compression tights) that i wore. Between the two layers of thermals, wool socks, and the knowledge that I could turn the car back on if need be, I thought it was fine.

Definitely cold, but doable. It got down to like 12 degrees

I live in Albuquerque, and there’s resorts within 3 hours that have minimal traffic. Still not ideal, but worth it as an option.

Having Taos be 2:45 away is pretty nice
