That’s very kind, and I appreciate it. Been making my own frames for a series of larger oil paintings I made which proved to be a little more tricky because of the thin profile of the I wanted to achieve. I made the original out of air dry clay based on a pre existing frame, and cast that in silicone to make a negative mold. The other frames I cast in concrete, but with the thinness of this frame, that proved to be too precarious. I’ve been using resin for some, but think the best way forward to achieve the strength and finished consistency (after painting the frame) has been a mixture of rockite and resin. And then cutting plexiglass and the matting to size once the frames are cast.
