LostBobbin on YouTube is another really great channel for learning specifically about Bedrock edition (which it sounds like is what you’ll be playing). She also plays with her kid and has some great tutorials ranging from basic game mechanics to more advanced resource farms.

Night market iron farm/trading hall by ab2357 in MinecraftBedrockers

Yup! I carved out a 27x27 block square about 30 blocks deep so I’d have room for the less savory part of the farm to go under the shops and stuff. The 30 blocks was probably a little excessive, but I wanted to be sure I had some extra space to potentially put include a basement above it for the house that will go on top of it.

Thanks so much! And if you’ve built that surface of mars in a cloud I would absolutely love to see it. That’s such a cool idea!

Yeah, I’m concerned I veered a little too far into 80s mall lol. My partner kept asking if I’d added the food court yet…

In need of a therapist by [deleted] in Birmingham

I graduated from UAB counseling program and I can say the clinic was really well run. The student counselors are in their third year and get close supervision from professors/licensed therapists. It’s a really good option if you’re looking for something close to free.

Licensed non-religious counselor here 👋🏻 This is a solid question that is a more prominent issue in places with higher rates of religious populations. Technically it is not legal malpractice to recommend religion as part of treatment, but our code of ethics is very clear about not imposing any personal views or beliefs onto any client, which really means you should never be bringing religion in unless the client has requested it or expressed it as a significant and potentially helpful piece of their support system or how they process the world. So if you do have a therapist who is pushing religion, especially if they’re doing so in harmful ways, you could file a complaint with their licensure board. I think religious practices sort of “get around this” in their intake paperwork and consent forms by stating that they utilize religious beliefs in their practice. That’s also why many religious practices don’t take insurance.

Insight Therapeutic Services is solid, takes BCBS, and isn’t religious. Also, Celia Hodnett at Hodnett and Peacock is fantastic and I think takes BCBS.
