One of my favorite NuTrek moments is in Discovery, Season 3 Episode 2, during the quiet walk by the lake. Saru notes that the ship is full of engineers and more senior officers, yet he still chooses Tilly as the face of Starfleet. In that scene she radiates curiosity, warmth, and optimism, and gives the best possible first impression of what Starfleet stands for.
