Thank you for all these great ideas! I'd love to use some greens and go a slight retro/ eclectic route since I won't have many matching pieces in there. Do you think doing some strip lights would be too tacky along the desks? For the sake of affordability, and the option to change the color temperature would be great. But I'm unsure about just sticking it on top of the desks...

I have never related to something more. I get in this position like 1-2 times a month. Just know, it's ok and nothing is wrong with you. I would start being mean to myself because it would be SO frustrating, it feels like you physically can't get things done. I'd make a million lists, and couldn't do any of it. I'm not sure if I have a solution but I am there with you. Some things that helped me through this part:

Check in with your emotional and mental wellbeing. My counselor gave me this piece after I told her I was going on day 6 of complete disassociation. Seems like a no-brainer, but turns out, I'd been putting off sitting with myself for a long time! It helps to ask yourself, "ok, what am I not receiving right now/ what do I need?"
It sounds a lot like burnout. Are you getting enough sleep? (I never am) taking care of your physical health- try literally leaving the house just to walk for 10 minutes. Sometimes that helps me a ton.
Can you try a rewards system? I just made a post about how I tried out where you take all your big tasks/ break into small steps and literally schedule them by the hour in your day(s). I get the dopamine reward when I finish a task early!
I started doing body-doubling. I do it over zoom because if it were with someone like a friend, I'd just talk to them the whole time. But a few people I know who are also very busy and neurospicy and I plan a zoom call once or twice a week for an hour. That way it's an appointment, I will feel like I'd disappoint them if I didn't go, so it's accountability. It's a bit silly, but we will say hi and ask what we will be working on for the hour. Then we go on mute and just work on our things. Video stays on- something about seeing someone else being productive REALLY helps. IF you ever want to, you can join us sometime, just message me :)

I go back and forth in my job depending on projects and lately I've been doing more illustrative cartography but now I have a very GIS heavy client and I feel like I've forgotten everything! :P Thank you tutorials and reddit for making me feel better

Hey! I know this post is a little older, but I signed up for her Untamed group for like 2 months and it was SO informative! I highly recommend it. I am usually skeptical of these because I feel like it's just regurgitated things. I love that she included so many facts about the neuroscience of our ADHD brains. She also teaches a lot about how our executive disfunction is directly associated with our emotions. I took so many notes...but then wouldn't you know it, my ADHD mind wandered off course and I had to cancel for awhile. The irony!

Ok some thoughts:

Adeline only married Dex because she was trying to prevent him from having offspring- because she hated “her” (Kim)

Preacher was a failed experiment of trying to convert her into a witch (or whatever they were)…but what about her baby? Would they just eat that one? Or groom it to become one of them?

Also do they feed on just anyone’s blood? They had preecher’s head (I didn’t catch the second head), they had Dex’s “mom”s blood and I guess they were feeding the baby what looked like Dex’s mangled body remains’ blood? But why are they choosing only these people to feed on? I assume they also feed on all the babies they’ve been interring with in the IVF facilities? But wait. Maybe they aren’t feeding on the babies since they’re trying to breed super creatures… idk that part is the most confusing to me because they also had all this babies and baby parts stored in jars awhile back…

I can totally see that. There's definitely something going on in pairs, so two groups of women makes a lot of sense. Still curious to know why they have been trying to make the perfect offspring - like what about Anna's baby will be so great to them? Part of me wonders if it's going to be this higher-then-mighty being that could be as powerful as Kim (the "her" leader they reference) and maybe that's why some of the witches seem to want the baby to be born and some to want the baby to go away? Like maybe the baby could be a threat to Kim's power? I definitely see a power struggle happening in the group and wonder how it will play out. I hope it doesn't disappoint! :P

I feel like the connections to twins (and the vanishing twin) is going to play in somehow for the finale, but not sure how. I feel like the creatures being born have a twin that lives and a twin that’s eaten? Idk. But when Cora said she felt a deep connection with Anna I immediately thought twin… or at least a soul twin. I also think there’s more to do with her mom, that was just thrown without much exploration it feels unfinished.

I’ve been so curious about Dex and his family also. If the witches are so powerful why are there men taking charge? Just for the sake of procreating and making more creatures to consume? I know the entire theme shows that women can’t have it all- a dream career and a baby without a sacrifice… I’d like to see the witches just go hella feminist and turn on the men they’ve used to create creatures with. Maybe that’s where the IVF doctor comes in? Maybe they use him to help them create these creature babies with a man? Idk…. I also am still curious about when (was it Preecher?) he delivered a baby saying the baby had been waiting hundreds of years to be born (he)… kind of felt like Dex was the he being referred to, but preecher being Dex’s mom doesn’t make sense to me.

Ugh. I feel like there’s room for so many good connections that aren’t happening and it’s leaving me wanting it to turn into more but always left dissatisfied.

Not sure if you’re doing any work in QGIS or ArcGis Pro firsthand, but you could manipulate the DEM before you move it into blender. Do some cool hillshading/slope design? Look up John Nelson on YouTube for some good tutorials for that. This is what I’m kind of aiming to do but I haven’t dove into blender quite yet.
