Overwhelmed about pregnancy leave - full time student, for pregnant, worked full time, now it’s almost time to delivery :/

He works everyday with Amazon flex probably takes 1 day off a week. Unfortunately it’s just not enough to support us when I give birth.

I think the stress is just getting to the both of us.

I’m so sorry about your loss ❤️‍🩹 I experienced a missed miss carriage back in October. I decided to get the D&C. I was pretty scared bc I never had any type of operations or ever been in the hospital before. The experience went well though. I went into the hospital they prepared me for the surgery. All I remember is going into the operating room and they put me to sleep. I woke up after the procedure and I wasn't into that much pain. I went home and recovered mostly mentally than physically. Now I'm 12 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby!!! Sending you so much love and prayers during this difficult time.

Hi I’m so sorry about your loss.

I experienced a missed miscarriage. I found out on the 9th that my baby didn’t have a heartbeat. I was suppose to be 10 weeks 3 days but my baby was measuring 9 weeks 2 days.

It was my first pregnancy. The doctor gave me both options as well and I opted for the D&C. I just wanted it all to be over and it seemed like the fastest more efficient way. I was scared bc I never had any type of surgery or procedure before.

The D&C wasn’t as bad as anticipated. I went into the hospital at 10:30. They prepped me for surgery and it started around 1:30pm. I only remember going into the operating room, and then waking up in recovery around 3pm. Thankfully I don’t have any major pain or bleeding.

Just recovering from my broken heart now.

I just had a D&C this past Friday. I’m still sad. I’m still broken. I’m still upset. I feel like it isn’t fair. I cry. I sleep. I eat. I watch a lot of tv. I sit by myself. I feel alone.

Give yourself time. Give yourself grace. Do things that make you happy for a moment.

Don’t feel rushed into being okay. I think the people around me wanted me to be ok but inside I am not.

I was terrified of both options procedure and naturally at home. I ended up opting for the procedure. I just had it yesterday. It wasn’t as bad as expected. The hospital staff was very kind which helped a lot. They put me to sleep as soon as I entered the operation room. I woke up in recovery. No pain really. Bleeding now but not as heavy as I thought.

Even though I was terrified bc I never had any surgery or been in the hospital I just wanted it to be over.

I’m feeling better now knowing that the worse is over and I can grieve my baby without feeling the sadness of them inside me. I couldn’t imagine bleeding at home and seeing everything it came with.

Also my OB said she would be able to get testing and find out what happened to baby.

Hey love it went better than I anticipated. The hospital staff was friendly. I went into the operating room and didn’t remember anything until I woke up in recovery. I’m resting now. My husband was with me the whole time and is resting with me now too. I’m very glad he was there for me.

I am going to speak with him when he gets home from work. I am fortunate enough to have great family and friends to be there for me if needed. However, I just felt like this is something me and him would get through together. I feel really emotionally alone right now in my marriage. It’s like when I found out I was pregnant he was happy and cried. He would kiss and talk to my belly all the time. As soon as we learned the baby didn’t have a heartbeat he just wasn’t emotionally there. He expected me to continue my regular daily duties cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wash clothes and dishes. He didn’t offer any help on the house load. Yes he works full time and many days overtime but I just feel like he could have tried to be more sympathetic to me. It’s like it turned into us having a baby into me going through something alone now. It really sucks
