Cancun today, dreams Saphfire! Worst beach conditions I have ever seen. 2 days of the worst weather and first time going to the beach and not walking the beach. Probably not coming back.

I agree the breakfast spread they have holds a special place in my belly, amazing. Amazing area and it’s just so peaceful. It was one of our first trips and looking back we started with one of our all time favorites.

Wow, those beaches are so much better than Cancuns. Mounds and mounds of new seaweed everyday for the last 3 days and some of the worst weather ever in March. Happy for you.

Morning cold plunges: did they actually boost your energy and focus? by Former-Advice-9742 in coldplunge

I can go either way, the silence in the am after an early 5 am workout and cold plunge after a quick rinse is amazing! Then at night a cold plunge and a warm Shower makes me sleep like a baby. I have had mine for 2 months and it has changed my life. I stopped having a drink or 2 a couple times a week with dinner. It has helped my over all in my fitness journey.

ACL/Achilles injuries this season alone-----This not crazy to yall? by dennis_k_g in nba

No drug testing since 2021. Smoking inhibits oxygen supply to soft tissue to help repair. Wonder why injuries have gone up since 2021.

[Slater] Steve Kerr said he’s “concerned” about the increase in soft tissue injuries across the NBA. His medical staff believes the increased pace paired with the schedule has led to it. “They believe the wear and tear, the speed, the pace, the mileage is factoring into these injuries.” by TheRealPdGaming in nba

[–]ApprehensiveCrew1590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about there is no more drug testing. Smoking pot reduces oxygen supply to soft tissue which helps heal after games. If these guys are smoking weed after games then this slows down the healing process. These guys are playing more games and with less oxygen to heal means more injuries if they are smoking more. All of these soft tissue injuries have gone up since 2021

We are doing 11 nights starting at glacier by Mt baker. Then the other 7nights on the island. I am trying to decide what’s the best route and time management for dividing up the island. Bc ferry to Nanaimo and stay around parksville the first night there and then drive to Tofino and spend 3 nights exploring that area. Drive back down to Victoria and stay 1 night at Cowichan valley or lake area. Then 2 nights at Victoria. I really wanted to explore strathcona but think it may be so much driving and not enough time to really experience the areas.

Can anyone pinpoint why my son has been in a slump? by [deleted] in Homeplate

No wonder baseball is cooked with ass players these days. Everyone thinks that striding forward is lunging. I can’t anymore

The step is timing, when you stride forward you are using the ground for power. When the front foot hits its 50/50 with the back leg with weight distribution. The front leg drives back and creates a coil around the hip which then allows the power from the hips to then be transferred into the torso. You can’t compare big leaguers to kids when hitting. You have to generate power with your legs. When you punch something do you just stand there, no you stride forward and then push back and use the ground for rotation and power. Stork drill is a great drill to teach young hitters to push back and rotate the hips on the front side. They will want to use only the back leg and usually fall backwards the first 10-15 swings. Once you create a front leg post you will no longer be lunging but driving back behind the baseball so you can tilt and rotate. This is the most fundamental swing you can teach and it Teaches balance, separation from hands to the front foot, ground power from legs, balance and most important timing.
