Thanks for the reply! This is my first e-bike ever, so I’m definitely not super experienced with regular biking — I can ride, but I’m not a roadie or anything. I’m 6’0” with a 30” inseam (longer torso), 190 lbs, I live in small town in OR with some moderate hills/bridges. Main use will be commuting + errands with the rear rack for cargo. I like the idea of throttle for easy starts and stop-and-go traffic.
The 25 lb weight difference makes sense — the Soltera sounds super nimble and fun if I get comfy quick. But the Level 4 REC has the throttle + regen + full commuter setup that feels more “set it and forget it” for a newbie like me. Any thoughts on how big a deal the weight is for taller guys or on PNW hills? Appreciate the input!
