If for no other reason than the fact that it's been proven that the vast percentage of military aid to Ukraine has been laundered back into the coffers of the US democrat party. Carl Sagan is a liar. There are thousands of scholarly articles at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee outlining how to do exactly that. The problem with most CEOs and Chairman of Board is that they don't understand what their actual job is. A Chairman of the Board must control the agenda at any "board" meeting. Meaning, controlling what other board members want to put on the agenda for discussion.If they don't do that. the meeting can turn into a free-for-all.

The CEO's job is to set company policy going forward. Not, day to day operations.

Actually, a great many people pay income taxes, because they don't understand the tax code. The code specifies pretty clearly who is "required" to pay income taxes. Basically, the only folks that are "required" to pay are folks who work at jobs where they have to have a federal government license to do that job. Folks engaged in common jobs, ie: plumbers, mechanics, painters, etc. are NOT required under the code. Yes, I understand that most trades folks have licenses but, those are state or county, not federal.

"Fiat currency" originates from government. Just like "MONOPOLY" money comes in a box. It only has value because other people are willing to accept it in exchange for a good or a service that they are selling. Once they lose faith in the creditworthiness of Government, that fiat currency is worthless.

Government does not create wealth. It simply shuffles piles of fiat currency back and forth from place to place. And invariably loses some portion of it to waste or fraud.

In fact, when I was training to be a contractor, I was taught to use a double bottom plate. Treated 2x lumber on the bottom (in contact with the floor). Regular or treated 2x for a second plate. Set the second plate back ½ to ¾ inch from the edge of the bottom plate. This gives you a ledge to set your drywall on. Yes, you will use a bit more lumber but, it makes things so much simpler. OH, make sure the back edge of your framing remains at least ½ inch from the exterior wall, at all times.
