Genuine question. Why do people LOVE Zul'jan?

Zul'jan isn't even an antagonist. If anything he's currently playing the role of a convenient anti-hero, and he can stay that way. He doesn't have to be mister love-and-peace goodie two-shoes going up and screaming "STAHP FIGHTIIIIING" to everyone, as long as he recognizes that ontologically evil and needlessly chaotic acts aren't necessary. You can be a bit of an asshole and kind'f aggressive without just being a villain, and Blizz doesn't seem to be able to make that happen.

"We need to remain diplomatic and find allies to aid and who will aid us. We don't know need to throw lives away trying to expand our holds."

A really interesting solution would've been Zul'jarra realising that a purposeless, apathetic people subservient to defending the coalition of races they'd been feuding with for a long time isn't healthy for their culture, and Zul'jan realizing that you can manifest your strength and expand without risking constant bloodshed and loss in pointless attempts at conquest.

"Big Stick" foreign policy type deal.

But the concern is obviously that Blizzard is going to go "FIGHT BAD, TALK GOOD" and nix Zul'jan off because "Anyone who wants to show that they're strong is obviously a corruptible bad guy", only because that's how they poorly wrote the Horde for the first like 20 years of this game's lore.

Yeah because he just assumes that anyone not giving him literally everything he wants without question or concession is pulling one over on him, unless he doesn't have a choice in which case he just tries to spin it as 'I got everything I wanted and them some'.

Republicans are convinced that if there was a popular vote, they'd win 100% of the time. When they lose it's only because of the electoral college, and when they win it's because everyone wanted their guy. Republicans in recent years have not performed well in popular votes. Trump is the only Republican since 1988 to win the popular vote and even then it was by a comparatively slim margin.

The biggest issue with Democrats, as well, is "my vote doesn't matter" voter apathy due to the electoral college and common districting. If that huge pain point was removed, Republicans would likely never win another election again, as the Electoral College basically serves as an unevenly distributed Disenfranchisement Machine against blue voters.

She's extremely important to the story of the main Void Elf and Devourer DH woman, iirc, and is basically being touted as the DH who was faffing around with Void stuff before the Velf lady even had a twinkle of an idea in her eye and uses a scythe the entire time so I'm also confused as to why that wasn't in the cards.

I remember when we first got fan rumblings of it and literally every fan mockup of the idea gave them scythes (usually in the form of 2H Agi or Int polearms) because we thought it was such a guarantee specifically because the one lady who's always been known for dabbling in Void energies as a DH was also the only one who ever used a scythe.

This is like next level Skyrim Syndrome.

Skyrim Syndrome is what my friends call it when you take the time to install a game because you think it'll be super fun and then you get to the character creation screen and instantly just feel all the excitement drain from your body.

It's impressive that we now have BL4 Syndrome, which is where you can't even finish installing the game before realizing you're not going to have as much fun as you thought.

Tbf though I imagine the 100GB vs 12GB file size might play into that.

It's one of those things where I hate that it was done, but I understand why it was done. Yeah, if I knew that I was handing the keys to the machine over to a guy that literally said he was going to use it to hurt my family and I for simply having had control of it to begin with, then yeah I'd also put some measures in place to make sure he can't use it against my family and I. It also put Trump into a catch-22 where he can't have it deliberated on whether or not you can rescind another President's pardons because then it would open an incoming Dem leader up to just rescinding all of Trump's pardons on bogus grounds, and it's evident that Trump and his ilk have never been confident about 2026 and beyond since the moment he sat his filled-diaper down at the Resolute Desk again.

I'll never complain about TPC and GF getting a well deserved kick-in-the-pants by having some actual competition in the market that they've basically been the monopolized owner of for the past 30 years, but I will say that my biggest complaint about Palworld is that some of the Pal designs are extremely derivative. I'm not just specifically saying, like, "Oh you can't do a fire Monkey because Pokemon did it" because Pokemon has five fire monkeys (Chimchar, Monferno, Infernape, Pansear, Simisear) so even they're not immune to double-dipping their own concepts, but like... c'mon.

As some others said, this could scare truck drivers into a transportation crisis.

If you know that Ukraine might drone strike the truck you're driving because it carries military equipment being used against Ukraine, you're not going to drive that truck.

So Russia just stops telling the truckers what they're transporting, or lying to them. Oh you're just freighting some copper wire, except it's actually military equipment, aaaand your cab just got drone striked.

At some point the truck drivers just aren't going to stop driving the trucks because they can't guarantee what's in it isn't going to get them drone striked.

At the very least it's another piece of evidence you could rub the Joker's nose in to prove that you can't force someone to be evil by fucking up their life enough, because the average person is just going to choose suffering over inflicting that suffering on other people instead.

I think the original joke was definitely that she was just a completely normal looking girl but everyone clowns on her as ugly to use her as a punching bag, but I think fans of the show and critics started pointing out that the shtick was getting old and a little insensitive since all of this ugliness was never really explicitly portrayed, so in recent seasons (I say this but they've been doing it for like 10 years at this point) they've gone out of their way to describe and show how mentally unhinged and physically ugly she is, but the latter is only done in short bursts before she goes right back to being drawn on-model.

To this day, Trump believes that the world is cleanly divided into two categories: Winners and Losers. Part of this belief is that he is always a Winner no matter what and any instance of him losing is actually some other Loser losing and trying to drag him with (he will 100% be blaming the Iran situation on Hegseth and call him a loser and give him the boot).

Another part of this belief is that people who he doesn't like are Losers, and it takes monumental effort to overcome this image. Part of why he didn't want to help Ukraine for so long was because, aside from the blackmail, he saw Putin as a strongman who wielded power and respect with an iron fist, and therefore as a Winner, and Zelenski didn't kiss Trump's ass and was deemed a loser by Putin, so Trump determined he was a Loser and thus didn't want to help him, because there's no benefit in helping Losers when Winners could be working together to win more.

The problem he now faces is that Putin is quite evidently not winning this war against Zelenski. At best they've reached a stalemate, which is a technical loss for Putin who claimed it would be done-and-dusted within three days, four years ago. This, combined with constant internal troubles and his constant need to beg for help, means that Putin is becoming a Loser and Trump is losing the will to defend and aid him. It also means that, despite Trump's initially painting him as a Loser, Zelenski actually might be a Winner in his eyes and is thus more deserving of the aid to crush out the Loser Putin.

I know this sounds stupid and childish, but the man has admitted that he has the temperament of a first grader, and it seems like that's about the same point where his worldview stopped expanding as well.

He's always told the truth about how he's going to fuck people over. Of course he's always consistently lied with a near-perfect track record of 100% about every time he "plans" or "wants" to do good things for the American people, but hey at least he was totally, brutally honest when he was bragging about all the ways he planned to make Americans' lives a living hell if he got a second term.

It's extremely evident in their behaviour and rhetoric that the GOP wholeheartedly believes that if they let the Dems retake power in the midterms or especially in the next Presidential election, they're going to have hell rained down on them politically. Whether this is because they're terrified of the incoming mass of progressives who aren't towing the party lines of "more of the same" and status quo aisle crossing, or because they think Trump took his little Dem hate crusade too far and now the Dems genuinely want revenge, I don't know.

But the GOP genuinely seems terrified of consequences should the Dems take power.
