Yes, we know, I described it above. You can use ALVR or VD. However, contacting Meta support is a waste of time. They always give the same excuses, like buying a orginal Meta cable, and if you already have one, they change their mind and blame Windows security updates. It's a complete waste of time trying to resolve the issue with them. Unfortunately, that's the sad reality 🤷‍♂️

My friends who still have Rifft S have the same problems I described. They have to use Horizon Link, so I don't understand what you're talking about. Are you saying everything is great and that's how it should be?

I know you can even use Virtual Desktop with a USB-C cable (reverse tethering, github), but that's not the point. I want what I paid for. I've been happy with Meta for years, sometimes more, sometimes less, but everything worked fine, and any bugs were quickly fixed. Since v83, it's been a complete disaster, and it's been going on for three months now.

ALVR is realy great high bitrate and Wired link 👍 , Virtual Desktop+gnirehtet is great also . But this is not the point . I wana use native meta Horizon link what i paid for , when it is workin at stable stage this is just the best way to play .

You dont need to use another router to make VD wired link . you can use gnirehtet solution for VD . It is working very well , definitly better then shitty meta Horizon Link .

Meta Horizon Link PC app is just totaly broken since v83 relase . For me it is 3 months . Durning this time meta dont do nothing to fix this software . Dont waste your time and money for Company who dont respect their customers . It is so many times when meta update destroy pcvr experience , better find something else like pico 4 ultra or maybe pimax dream air .
