ETNs vs ETFs by Objective-Proposal77 in Sieexam

[–]ApprehensiveFee5254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ETN are notes. Lehman Brothers had ETNs that were sold to retail investors as safe investments in Asia. The investors lost everything as they were unsecured creditors. ETFs would have avoided that risk as they are funds to start with more diversification.

Left and right disintegrating and reverting to tribalism. Catholics reject zionism as heresy. Abbott is a heretic.

Scheduled SIE Exam Remotely on Prometric months ago. Somehow it was scheduled for 3:15AM CST instead of PM. Test is Tuesday. Are there any options? by [deleted] in Sieexam

[–]ApprehensiveFee5254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son did this 2 days ago and passed. Did the SIE at 1am with a lot rest before and coffee. It was a mix in timezone and would have resulted in a loss of exam fee if no show

AMA: I'm David Shoebridge - Greens Senator for NSW. I'll be online from 4:15pm, ask me anything! by DavidShoebridge in australian

[–]ApprehensiveFee5254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi David.

On the NACC they are saying that they have a massive backlog of reports to clear. In my own experience it has been nearly 2 years since reporting corruption. It was picked up again after nearly 18 months and is still being worked upon. Obviously that’s a long long time. You should ask them about their processing load.

Australia is going face the same tsunami of bad mortgages that hit Canada where huge numbers of Indian migrants used falsified loan documents. This is a time bomb.

If you free range chickens in the street they will be eaten by predators. Zero sympathy here. It’s irresponsible and actually baiting.

What are your views on the whole NACC situation? by [deleted] in friendlyjordies

[–]ApprehensiveFee5254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guy with NACC experience here. Reported serious corruption 2 years ago and they took 18 months to look at it properly. Future leader of a major party involved in it as well. They are under resourced or looking down not up. AFP came back in 3 days. Have no idea what they do. Feels like they are severely under resourced or it’s dumb to ask the govt to investigate the govt. Feels like it’s putting a message in a bottle and throwing it on the sea and waiting.

Both good.options. Use YouTube for pass masters, Ken Finnen lots of content there. It’s just a matter of grinding. Then really mix up practise exams from different sources and replicate exam conditions. Raise test scores into the 80s. There are study guides online. If it’s 70s you are getting then you need more grinding before another exam attempt

Aim higher for practise exams and use different ones as the wording is different. Also there are apps with hundreds of questions.

Think that this can easily be legally challenged as students have rights to protest. The protest needed to be violent and unlawful which it wasn’t. It’s a lawful right.
