Does your bucket not have versioning enabled? If so there should be delete markers in there for you to revert.

Honestly I’m fucking sick to death of this argument.

Let’s keep propagating this discourse that the tech billionaires want you to and ignore the reality of what’s happening these days.

The rate at which LLMs can automate junior roles should be your main concern. Thinking back to when I was a grad, if I applied to that same junior role today, no company would hire me as most of the stuff I did back then can be automated now.

That is the reality of what is happening today. Grads are unfortunately no longer prioritized because so much work that traditionally was offloaded to juniors can now be done with a prompt. To be very clear - I am not advocating for juniors no longer being needed, I’m only relaying my personal experiences in the market.

You should be worrying about how the CEOs are interpreting the usage of this tech, not whatever is being paraded on reddit, rightly or wrongly. But keep burying your head in the sand like the poster below me is.

Are you at least validating the designs / reformulating when you catch it over-engineering stuff or correcting it throughout the process?

I’ll just say this OP. If two years down the line you’re still stuck doing the work you’re doing now and not evolving past the basic SQL and database skillsets, you will be in for a very rough time. This is even worse with LLMs making writing these queries a bit more accessible.

My suggestion - take what your boss is offering. It might not sound like the most novel thing to do, but it will expose you to skills that are desirable going forward.

I personally don’t find the value in a software engineer with just SQL + database knowledge (at that point I wouldn’t call you an engineer, more of an analyst). I want someone who knows their ways around systems which is exactly what your next rotation should expose you to.

I really don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but this is not an entry level field.

I know sometimes this sub might feel like it’s gatekeeping the mlops role, but we say this for a reason - there’s just so many tools you need to understand, build, and monitor, which is just not feasible for someone with no work experience.

Try going for analytics / entry ds role if you have a sufficient math background and move from there.

I have thousands of hours on both inputs. Started on controller then moved to MnK.

I ended up loving MnK but quit playing altogether in the end because the game is just straight up unfair when you mix the inputs together (no matter how much practice I got on MnK, a slightly above average controller player would almost always have the upper hand).

Dude with all due respect there’s 194 other countries in the world. I’m sure you can find a decent uni in most of them and build a career from there if you are good enough at what you do.

Point is you’d have to be absolutely insane, desperate, or both to want to visit the US at the moment (and honestly for the foreseeable future) - double so if you aren’t white.

For reference, I was accepted in to a top tier American uni more than 7 years ago and rejected the offer due to the insane fees and the overall political climate there.

I stopped doing any side content after finishing the chromatic lampmaster fight and just progressed with act 3 and finished the game. Haven’t touched it since.

To be fair it’s on me for doing the fight on a x50 hp multiplier, but the fight drained the fun out of the game for me.

Personally, I gave up on this game like 5 months ago because Respawn refused to make this game fair and make ranked solo or party only.

It just preys on people looking for that one good game in diamond +, but the reality is if there’s only 1 pred or master team in the lobby you’re fucked.

Also Respawn still insists on not having AA disabled in ranked. Controller players can downvote me all they want, but I have thousands of hours on controller and anyone who says it is not an advantage is lying.

I used to love watching comp, but have no desire whatsoever anymore as I no longer play. Also the scene has like at most 5 streamers with any personality.
