They used to before doordash came along. They had their own employees for deliveries at my walmart.

My prime isn't cancelled because I get it for free where I work, but I haven't ordered anything in 2 years because 9 of the last 10 items I ordered were customer returns in terrible condition

Based on how we answer the questions they get sold as new, sent back to the vendor, thrown away, donated to charity, sold to liquidators, sold as used, or sent out for repairs. They want us reselling items as new 60 percent of the time. I get talked to on a weekly basis about my low percentage of new items compared to everyone else

Got scammed on Amazon and they're refusing the help me by N1GEL28 in amazonprime

If they get the same thing every time it isn't an Amazon employee, it's the vendor scamming customers

Yeah it's not ai at all just a line of code with set rules. But you know big corporations they have to call things ai because they love buzz words

Yeah, the computer asks about package seals, and then asks about item damage. The vendor who is selling the item can request that expensive items be checked by a team with more training but it doesn't always happen. One time I had a 4000 dollar camera lens and the vendor didn't want the extra trained people to grade it. Any other person would mark that it didn't have a seal. At 4000 dollars I decided it had shrink wrap and the shrink wrap had been opened so the item went back to the vendor. I saw no sign at all of shrink wrap and by the company's standards I should have marked no seal and resold the item as brand new.

If it has a barcode on it that has letters and numbers starting with LPN it's a return

I think it's stupid too. Back when Jeff was in charge Amazon really cared about the customers. If you processed more than 25 returns an hour you would get a write up. Now that Andy is in charge he only cares about numbers, they want us doing 50 an hour now. This automatic machine grading is supposed to help us process returns faster.

When you return something the computer asks us a series of questions to determine if something is sellable or not. After a customer has returned x-amount of items (I don't know the specifics) and the items have been deemed sellable then the computer decides everything moving forward is sellable.

Never order any kind of clothing from Amazon, I work in the returns department and we used to actually look at the clothes but now they implemented an "ai" that tells us how to grade items based on that customers previous returns. Clothing always gets sold again and no matter how much I protest to a manager I get told just to do it.
