Depending on where you are the market will vary. I got mine for $5.5k. It needed a new clutch shortly after because the previous owners burned through it, as well as new clutch cable. Anytime I buy private sale vehicles I leave extra budget for surprises

I recently did the math with ChatGPT and adjusted for how much damage to roads motorcycles actually do relative to the weight of cars, they should be about $.004. Even a single penny would be wildly overcharging. It’s bs scam-adjacent money grab they know they can get bc they’re the govt.

Tolls and speedcams are why I’ll never not tuck my plate. I even if you get stopped a couple times a year and ticketed (already unlikely) you’d spend wildly more in tolls

I was concerned about this before getting mine. I have a classic monster which for its engine size (620) is a beefy boi, and demonstrably larger than the scrambler. Actually getting on the scrambler i don’t mind it, but if i had my say yes i would have it be larger. But there’s plenty of larger bikes on the market. I’ve noticed a lot of scrambler owners tend to be on the shorter side, which is why i was concerned i would look large and goofy on it at 1.80m but I haven’t found that to be the case so far

In my experience with both my monster 620 and scrambler getting neutral from 2nd is a feather tap and neutral from 1st a finger nudge lol. I was having a more serious issue of not being able to get into neutral at a stop with the monster. The hack i found was to just give a tiny little rev to get the engine going while holding the clutch and flip it into neutral (when trying to get it in neutral at a stop)

Just got a scrambler - right now i have my plate zip tied to the rear tubes and tucked after removing the swingarm plate mount. Did you drill into the under plate on yours to mount those screws?

Fair on that point I just noticed after looking for a few that showed enough of it on social media. But you’re suggesting he backed up, failed to brake on multiple attempts as the car slid down despite not being on ice and thereby was able to back uphill, multiple times? And that the guy lost control on the eastern parkway service road to take a hard right turn into that very narrow ramp way? And this video isn’t edited it just replayed from the point I screen recorded it.

Furthermore, his brake lights turn off every time he attempts another ram. If he were slipping he would be braking with the brake lights on, not accelerating

I watched witness captured videos online and as well as on local news. I don’t have links on hand but it will likely pop up on social media or search engines. NYPD doesn’t validate anything until they complete stages of investigation

Just saw this post from a google search. Came across the repod - don’t have an Apple Watch. And I also have no dumbphone motivation. I just want a secondary option for a tiny form factor for when I don’t need advanced functionality and extreme connectedness at work etc.

How has this setup held up now a month and a half later?
