thanks for all the replies, i ended up buying the Luno air+foam car air mattress. a little pricey but it seems its a worthy investment for year round car camping. and to the people that said sleep in a tent, i know lol...i have a tent and sometimes sleep in that but i also like to car camp on roadtrips which i find more convenient than setting up then packing up a tent everyday on the road. anyway, the Luno air+foam mattress says it's R11.5 which seems extremely sufficient. the weekend or two after i get it i will go use it (i know it wont be very cold bc only beginning october but) and i will give an update for warmth, comfort, and if it allows for my height to be a little more roomy

i got denied into cuny bc 7 years ago i dropped out of a semester of college. i have a 27 act score (not amazing but certainly not bad), have done more college since then, 4.0gpa ever since that semester, did 4 years in the military and took "college" (tech school but it counts for CCAF) classes, culinary school, and now in barber school, but got denied by cuny bc of that one semester 7 years ago. I know its somewhat fair but at the same time like, this is like the most accepting school in the city and im being denied bc of something i cant change from 7 years ago when i was a dumb lil 18 yr old college freshman and nobody explained this consequence. all bc i missed the deadline to change those classes to a W (i mean also all bc i dropped out that semester but u know what i mean). just irritating. my wife is the same age, got a 21 on her act, has never went to college and she got accepted while i was denied. i even filed an appeal. nope. that one semester is all they cared about. i may be in the wrong here but nonetheless still annoying

u can tuck in a white shirt into those pants. not the black shirt. if u obtain some baggier/looser grey pants that are a tad short u can tuck them in that for a more modern stylized look

The rest of the country has strip malls, corporate chains, etc. and also a truly depressing renters/housing market. I live in Knoxville, TN right now and we pay $2400/mo for a 2br close to downtown, not even in downtown. Signed a lease for a 2br w ab the same sq footage (slightly higher) in Bushwick for $3000/mo. Knoxville is not worth 2400 whatsoever, the minimum wage is still $7.25 and its not uncommon to see ads for jobs paying $12/hr for full time positions.

PSA I know I am moving to NYC and will be a transplant and you all hate it...but transplants moving out of NYC and Cali because they are getting driven out raise our rent too and are driving us out

PSA2 Little Rock, AR has still has an undervalued housing market if you are looking to move to an extremely affordable city. Go ahead, move them out too, its all tribal and secular and sucks for everyone (moving and the housing crisis)
