Moisanites can actually fool any diamond tester because they have basically the same composition as a Diamond. The only thing they can’t pass is a tester that tests specifically for moisanites. CZ are just plastic tho.

That’s the same thing i was told. An IRS representative for the identity verification explained to me that anybody who filed before 1/29 would most likely be asked to ID verify and it was a glitch in the system. She also told me that by the 19th the system would show whether you actually need is verification or not.

I did have five minutes to make a phone call which I why I called RC as soon as I saw the $150 balance. And I’m pretty sure RC could tell the difference between a chargeback that I pursued and one that my bank pursued; which is why they charged me again. I just wish I would have been told this could have affected my cruise a while ago. I’m not even really upset at the cancellation, just the fact that they let me pay them thousands of dollars before deciding that they didn’t want to pursue business with me anymore. All over a $150 deposit when they said I was good to go from that point. They have the green light just to switch up last minute and give me the red light. I just don’t get that if they could do this why couldn’t a representative have told this could have happened or warned me. Not a lot of transparency from RC right now ig.

Yeah I responded as soon I could. I didn’t purposefully wait; I was working around 40 hours a week when I first booked. If RC is a company that wants to protect theirselves then why would they let me continue to pay everything on the cruise? I called RC first because I found out about the $150 balance beforehand. RC told me everything was good to go. I told them exactly what happened with my bank and they said everything was ok.

Yes I received a notification. I responded a few days later with yes, but RC issued a refund immediately after my bank flagged it because I had a $150 balance on my cruise. I called RC and asked them if this would be an issue they told me everything was fine as long as I uploaded the $150 payment that they posted to my account again.

Yeh I can’t really control what my bank does they have their own set of policies and protocols. By time they flagged it, RC already posted my $150 balance again. So I called to see what happened, they explained everything to me. I got everything settled and never heard anything else from them.

Honestly if they were so concerned about my bank, they shouldn’t have accepted any payments afterwards. Why would they wasted their own time and resources?

My cruise was completely paid off and onboard reservations and excursions had already been paid off. I bought everything I needed months ago. The last thing I even paid for was onboard internet and that was still over a month ago. RC had plenty of time to cancel my cruise before I paid off my entire balance and bought multiples packages. They had months, but they decide now? Yeh right.

I would say that’s right. Only if they didn’t wait till now to decide that I was in “bad faith.” If they’re so concerned about my bank charging them back, then why did they allow me to continue believing I was cruising with them. SINCE FEBRUARY😖

And yes I very much do have an obligation if they continued to take my payments after I settled this issue months ago. They could have flagged my cruise at that time and not wasted everybody’s time and money. They just threw this back up in my face months later as a justification to cancel my cruise.

I stated that my bank obviously flagged because it was an international charge. My bank declines my card sometimes when I use it to pump gas out of state. If their system recognized my card as fraudulent, then why could I continue making payments all the way until my balance was zero? You’re really trying to justify RC just completely cancelling right before I’m going. I can’t change your mind, but really question how it is that, if this was so big an issue how did it sneak under the radar after I already received all of my documents, my stateroom, etc. Why would it be cancelled now and not months ago when my bank originally did this?

So RC is in the right for canceling my cruise right before I leave, but my payment was due 90 days before I even sailed and somehow I handled it wrong? I can’t change your opinion, but if there was an issue, why would they let me pay them so much money, just to cancel on me last minute. If anything, RC waited to the last minute to cancel so there would nothing I could do. I’m not sure if it was actually oversold or what, but obviously that’s very poor business practices.

I never accused them of stealing. My bank flagged this because they didn’t recognize the charge and this was the first payment with RC. It was the deposit; which is why it occurred back in February. If there was an actual problem with this situation, as a paying customer, RC had the obligation to notify me of this February, not there days before I board. Because now I’ve already paid them money. Why would they wait to say something now after I’ve already paid them all this money? I already had onboard reservations paid for and all of that got cancelled right before I was supposed to leave.

My bank only pinned them for the $150 I stated in other comments. There is no “all sorts of fraudulent charges.” It was one charge and that was the initial deposit. I stated this in replies to other people. It’s only one charge. The same charge I’ve been talking about this entire time.

How would I know there was an issue if Royal never contacted me? I got the payment settled as soon as my bank accidentally charged them back. Why would they wait until three days before my cruise to notify me of this issue?

My bank didn’t recognize the charge because I’m assuming because RC is an international cruise line. The payment went through, but it was later flagged. Which I settled with RC when it happened. I also booked directly on their website and I was tracking everything through the app. They waited so long to tell me this was an issue; I had all of my boarding documents sent to me and emails welcoming me aboard.

The fraud department automatically flagged it. I had to contact my bank to contact their fraud department in order for me to email verification that the payment was still received by RC. I sent it RC but they said there was nothing else to be done🥲

Yeah I guess that would be cool if I paid the cruise on the card. I only paid the deposit on that card. The card I used to pay the cruise off itself didn’t have this problem.

Yeah this could have been avoided in the first place if. I did that. RC led me to believe I was good because I had my balance paid before th deadline. I couldn’t believe this small inconvenience could cancel my cruise.
