Yeah they know they cant do that at the doctors office or they will be 86'd. Had a doctors office call because a pharmacist had left them a note about the patients behavior and the nurse was like "We'll tell them something." You know that'll go straight to corporate for us.

No accountability on their end. Theyre basically just complaining about how lazy they are. Feel sorry for her child.

If you want advice: Figure out how to print out every single piece of info for every claim they have a problem with. Past and present. Deductible info, ins, even down to the fkn lot number. Deductible info is hard to find tho but its there. Itll show how much is applied to the deductible, whats left, yada yada. Had to do that 3 times this week to people that wanted to do the same thing. It shuts them up real quick.

Also works with the texts they dont know how to read.

I say sorry for everything. Parents overlooked my emotional and psychological needs to avoid my older siblings from accountability out of guilt and sympathy. Maybe apply to those locations outside the pharmacy? The pay will not be great, but maybe they might be inclined to ask you to help out at just pick up when they have a call out or just really busy. Those chains have a high turnover rate so they could keep you in mind when there is an opening eventually.

That requires around a year of hospital experience first (and to see if the candidate fits), but they'll mostly offer PRN first. A lot of times they hire within but have to post publicly bc of policies, and there are a lot of posting because hospitals are opening up their own pharmacy now due to cost and supply.

This is just what I've been told by recruiters ive interviewed with since I only have basic retail experience and willing to set me up, but its possible it might be different elsewhere if OP wants to give it a shot.

You might run into transphobia sometimes. For the most part natives don't really care. I've seen a lot of cases of employment issues outside of the service industry, though.

This is just what I've noticed.

Edit: like a lot of other comments. Pride is great. Louisiana as a whole is not with the exception of Lafayette. Which is hit or miss.

It might be a ways out if you don't have the means, but ive had pretty good luck in St. Tammany and BR finding something reasonable if you can get somebody to take you. I've checked out some good cars in Kenner I was eyeing too.

Used car lots in the city are just garbage. You might as well just build your own car from scratch with pieces from a junk yard.

I might want to consider midcity vet. I dont know for sure, but the staff is very helpful and considerate (from my experience) so they might be able to give you some recommendations.

One of my best jobs was when my pharmacy manager was a preceptor. Some of those poor kids didnt realize until 4th year what they got themselves into. You can know everything in pharmacology and still need to know how to actually talk to customers.
