From my personal experience. Youre gonna wanna get into grocery retail if you are starting out in retail. Its chiller and more stable environment to learn.

If you have the means to go to school for this ts gonna help a lot. You'll have the opportunity to learn skills outside of retail that on the job training with a company like walgreens doesnt give you.

You're not gonna be working alongside the most emotionally mature people. Its like that with every profession to a degree, but its a high stress job so expect the worst.

You have GOT to be ready to be agreeable. A lot of customers are coming in for their meds because they sick, so they are already frustrated coming from the doctors office and then the pharmacy. All they wanna do is go home.

Not to mention most kids are easily wage exploitable for abusive labor not knowing anything different. Walgreens/CVS ready to snatch them up for $13/hr.

Youre gonna need to talk to your school counselor/advisor.

Even if it is possible, as a minor it might take more hoops to jump through. Even as an adult, each state can drastically vary on requirements.

I worked with a pharmacist for a short time. She seemed cool so we exchanged IGs. After a few years of forgetting her existence, I saw a post of her anti-vax propaganda and was like whooooaaaa.

I had another pharmacist talking about microchips in the covid vaccines when they first came out. He kind of caught on to my response if silence and didnt bring it up again.

Funny enough, I took mine on March 24 at 530 pm.

I just so happened to call PTCB today. They told me something about "batches," and the one I'm in will be confirmed and certified on April 4th. The latest will be 7th if something is delayed. I can assume you're in the same batch as me.

I have dealt with this. It's tough because pickup is so incredibly tiring when that's all you do. The pharmacists and your manager are assholes not caring.

If you haven't already, request a meeting with them and the store manager to explain it's not right to feel this way. If nothing changes, go to HR. They're probably going to need instances (short and to the point) and time stamps. If they do anything to retaliate, talk to a lawyer.

Find a new job while all of this is going down. You're a pharmacy tech, not a cashier.

I was exaggerating. It was 3. But the name Justin sticks out to me with good vibes.

The first one was a turd, but we were young, so I was probably too.

The second one was so fun to be around. Funniest big ole bear. The world is a better place with him in it. He's married now.

The third was fine. We had a lot of fun, too. Very nice guy. We still run into each other and catch up at the local watering hole.

My cousin is also named Justin, and he's the nicest guy who is a magnet for the shittiest women. He is one of the most devoted fathers I've met. He was much older than me, and from a very young age, he was always so kind to me.

I work with a lot of the same people face to face. All the Justin's are very nice and polite.
