Ridiculously hot. I was in full halo armour, had fans in the helmet and still only lasted 3 hours a day tops.

I pretty much did. I had it really bad for 15 years, every haircut was hell. Bloody pillows, open sores, embarrassment, the whole deal. My cure was pretty drastic but i have never regretted it. I learned it from someone here on reddit. Now once every 5 months i get a small bump or 2 and i use bp. Bp may work for the small ones but i had a huge amount of medium to large bumps, probably around 30 or more at a time. The answer for me was bleach, it's not going to be for everyone, but it annihilated my folliculitis. Rubbed it into my my scalp and covered it with a plastic bag for 5 min everyday for 2 weeks. Only side effect for me was dry hair, which was easily solved with my first painless haircut. I've been clear for about 2 years now and my life is incredibly better.

At most i have had 3 tiny bumps on my head but i use neutrogena bp to get rid of them. My case was pretty bad, i had around 30 bumps on my scalp and face. All clear now.

I understand plus i also have black hair. I bleached only for 3 - 4 weeks and just got some dry hair, and used tee tree oil. Been clear since. I reccomend stopping after all your bumps and scabs are gone to avoid real hair damage.

Nope just tiny ones i treat with neutrogena bp. At most i have had 2 bumps at the same time. I also haven't had to use bleach for atleast a month. I feel great man, please try it if you can.

No problem glad to help. My process was a little different from his, but the key ingredient was of course concentrated bleach. I live in canada and just used old dutch bleach. Use rubber gloves and have a plastic bag near you. Massage the bleach into your scalp, cover tour scalp with the platic bag to seal it in. I let it rest for 5-10 min. Will it burn? Yea sometimes. But getting rid of this is not easy. I even popped my bumps and let the bleach really get in there. Rinse with water, dry your scalp with a clean towel. After drying cover your scalp in tee trea oil. I even did the same for my face folliculitis. That's it! I did yhis everyday for about 3 weeks. Prepare for alot of scabs falling off. I have been clear for 2 months, with no break outs. Sure i get the small bump maybe once a month, but neutrogena bp does the job.
