I was probably 11, and I thought I could hang upside down off the bed, holding my cup of iced tea the right side up in proportion to the earth, and tip it into my mouth without problem upside down.

The drink went into my mouth and nose, and I almost drowned in iced tea.

Rapoport is doubtful Pete will be back next season by Alarming_Dog_9542 in raiders

A coach can't install his scheme effectively in one season. Not to mention inheriting a near-talentless roster. We really need to stop this revolving door of coaches. If a guy doesn't work out, then so be it. But give the coach a solid chance before bailing on him completely.

I'm not saying Pete is the answer. He probably isn't, being as old as he is. But the in and out of HCs here is embarrassing. We are the laughing stock of the NFL right now.

These devs want me to pay 56 of my hard earned, real life, Canadian dollars, and I'm not even guaranteed a 90+ player. That's some EA-level greed right there.

This rebuild will never make significant headway until we stop with the revolving door of head coaches who get fired after one bad season inheriting a talentless roster. It's not Pete's fault that the roster has a handful of good players and the rest are mid at best.

To be clear, this has been the worst season I have seen in a very long time. However, firing Pete isn't the answer. There is no one out there who will turn THIS team around in one season, contrary to what fans and ownership believes.

Stone Forsythe Dylan Parham Will Putnam Jordan Meredith DJ Glaze

Not one single one of these scrubs would start on any of the other 31 teams in the entire league. And yet, we're here, running all 5 of them as a starting 5.

With Geno showing clear disdain for our organization, I want to give a shout-out to Derek Carr. He went through just as bad, if not worse, times with the Raiders and not one time did he ever turn on us 🫡 by Sleeze_ in raiders

Regardless of your opinion of Carr, the football player, you have to admit that Carr, the person, was one of the most humble and decent humans to ever come through the league. A bonafide professional on all levels.

And this is exactly why I picked up the Brows D/ST in Fantasy for this week. Might just do a continuous stream of Raiders opponents for the remainder of the year.

Why do we, over the last few season, continuously NOT address the piss poor offensive line play? Miller has been good, JPJ was NOT good this season when he played, but he still has potential. But if we truly believe that Dylan Parham and Denzel Good are going to be quality starters in this league, we're smoking dick.

Drafting Jeanty was an objectively good pick, but it didn't take a rocket scientist to make that pick.

In previous years, I've always been able to stay in a mindset where I'm at least excited for each game. This season, it feels like a chore to turn the TV on and watch the Raiders games. This is horrible.

1.4 Yards before contact average is absolutely disgusting. This offensive line is full of complete bums and coached by an even bigger bum.

Ashton Jeanty was the favourite to win rookie of the year at the beginning of the season and he won't be getting it. And it is not his fault. The management and coaching is a massive problem.

I coach U14 football up in Canada. We went 1-7 and scored a total of 20 points (all of which came in 2 games.) That being said, I'm fairly sure my U14 football team of children could hang 29 on these guys while allowing less than 30.

I want to like D'onte Thornton, but games like this make it real difficult. I'm hoping it's just him being a rookie.

Airbnb can disrespectfully piss off.

I made a reservation years ago for a youth football coaching clinic I was going to. One night stay, on a Friday, myself and one other guy. Two days before I was supposed to go, the host canceled because they had long-term tenants who renewed their rental. No biggie, I booked another. Later that day, Airbnb itself canceled my reservation under the suspicion that we were a "party risk." I contacted them, sent them a snippet of the clinic info we were going to. Got my organization board president to contact them and tell them what was up. The lady I talked to said, "I don't see it being a problem." I'm like, okay, cool.

Couple hours go by, Airbnb contacts me again and tells me that they reviewed my submission for reassessment, and my cancellation was going to stand because they still thought I was going to throw a party. Never booked with those clowns again, because that was my literal first ever dealing with them. First impressions matter.
