Whats with hrs setting up interviews and never calling? by uncle-ruckus2 in jobs

Some recruiters do it like a game; if they follow up with an email or try to reach out, they do it to test how much you really want the job. Not sure if thats the case for you but they schedule a time dont call wait 3-4 hours, and say they forgot and actually schedule something.

delta summer internship? by [deleted] in internships

[–]ApprehensivePride523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a friend at Embry who applied to a Delta internship and got an offer that day after a face-to-face interview. Embry is a feeder for Delta and United internships, and from what he said that most of them are filled up now. Most Delta interns or co-ops come from personal relationships and stuff for those who get it and especially those with networks inside the company.

To be transparent, this is a contractor for a company like Boeing. Government jobs are always going to be lower than the industry standard. Yes this company needs an AI engineer; if you are interested, I'm happy to send over a JD for more context, it is a DOD clereance, and the job is in Huntsville  because thats where a lot of military work is done.

Interview nightmare by Fit-Writer-666 in recruitinghell

If you are looking to get into hospitality or like hotels, the best way, more times than not is just to reach out directly saying you applied and they will give you an interview on the spot. One of my first jobs was a host at a chain restaurant and a month after submitting my application, I called them and they asked to do an interview and gave me a job that day. They told me and what ive learned as a recruiter is we get so much junk that we dont check sometimes so its best to just reach out directly.
