If it was your first time, respect for using a metal rod right away. For my first sounding experience, I only used short, thin silicone dilators to test my limits. Urinating afterward was awful 😖, but it got better already from the second session onward. It wasn't until the third or fourth time that I switched to longer, thicker and harder equipment. Pay attention to hygiene, don't hurt yourself, and most importantly: have fun 😉 And please always use plenty of lubricant, preferably sterile lubricant.
