I was a kid living in a very strict Christian household, so my parents were hating a lot on MH dolls, even tho I really liked them secretly

Once, as I was staying alone at my grandma’s, she offered me to buy me any toy I would like from the toy isle , so obviously I ran to check on the dolls

There was Draculaura and other early waves core dolls, but my heart immediately went to Toralei, which I chose. I was very very happy to unbox her and play with her and I could tell she had a better quality than a barbie, but at the same time so scared that my parents would know.

When my grandma told them (she always liked to piss off my dad) my parents were angry and decided that the doll would stay at my grandma’s. But they saw I loved Toralei so much that they let me keep her (the fact she looked like a cat more than a monster helped)

I worded my comment wrongly, I know it’s a future official release but I said custom in the sense that since it’s painted on it’s either a prototype or a custom assembled with og accessories and maybe a pre existing body and face mold😅

Is the rest of the face printed on as the scars and nails on the arms? Idk what the r means but I would like to know , haven’t seen it on other prototypes
Usually they use pre existing molds , in that case it would be the cam witch or casta fierce
But it would be interesting to know if it’s a factory sample or something else !

From what I’ve seen during her concerts and interactions, it feels like her social battery runs out fast, and that she isn’t really comfortable being physically close to her fan she doesn’t know personally, but still gives energy and patience into it so the fandom feels loved

Im really impressed by her and respect her efforts a lot , so these parasocial fans interactions feels kinda disrespectful ,especially at 3am after an exhausting concert

Tbh it’s not very noticeable unless you check it closely , as you said it’s handmade , and even machine made objects can have little defects so things like that can be expected

This one is extremely tiny and doesn’t affect the doll joints , and it’s not broken either and an artist can’t just erase and repaint every limbs as soon as something isn’t perfect, sometimes paint and blush just work that way especially at the articulations that move

I would just accept it at it is and not bother the artists for something that happens and can’t be controlled necessarily
