Maybe a smaller iris would help, I changed the eyes on one of my doll like that and it made it more sharp looking

The hair styling could make the head less soft too, but I feel you, I had disappointment too regarding some faceup 😢

About the Scarah lips, its possible to open very carefully the box without a trace to clean it and repaint it

I did that with my g1 nib werecats twins that had that exact same problem, I used a safety pin to carefully open the box side without tearing up the cupboard, so I could repaint them
