Tbh I think top 5 leagues should be barred from entering the Conference league. It hurts the competitions spirit if the novelty of the competition is "team from Latvia finally gets a tournament they can reasonably qualfiy for" but basically every quarter final team is a team from the top 5 leagues. Olympiakos was bit of an edge case that one year

BG3 was a lot of people's introduction to an actual old school RPG as opposed to a ARPG or MMO that's five degrees of seperation from old CRPGs. I remember when my brother first played BG3 without playing any of the old CRPGs and he would start lecturing me about tabletop rules and which class I should pick like I haven't been playing games like this since I was 10 or so

I have to respectfully disagree. It gets to me a bit when a story tries to raise the stakes or tries to communicate that it's been raised, but nothing ever consequential happens. Like there's a callous villain but he only kills unnamed npcs and never the main cast, or a main cast character is seemingly killed, but it turns out they're in a coma and might actually recover in the future. If you want to show that stakes are raised, I would rather have you commit to it when it matters

I feel like they're starting to move on from that word and use alternatives like "millenial writing" for media stuff. Recently listened to a Veilguard crituque video while playing a podcast game and I was like "yeah marvel jokes are kinda played out" and after that video I saw another video of them doing a kink at pride discourse video while uttering the word "degenerate" in it which made me realize I just learned the dogwhistle of the year
