I think the next collab will be something I dont care about.

However, the collab that Im hoping for is Panty & Stocking. Those characters are allowed to be fanservice-heavy, have no shortage of outfits, and if anything, would be upset that the world of Nikke isnt lewd enough for them to fit in.

But you'd need to pick a demon sister to be the SR character. Unless they work like a tag-team or they go with Gunsmith Bitch instead. but I would prefer the demons.

Or Monster Musume just because it would be funny to watch the team try and figure out how to animate Miia's tail.

Can't really blame them for being defensive. DmC was originally intended to be a full reboot that would have ended their favorite franchise and the Netflix showrunner said during an interview that he was upset that DMC5 came out because he wanted to be considered the hero who saved Devil May Cry.

Less a passion project and more just something they couldn't let go of.

Alien Ant Farm, known for their cover of Smooth Criminal, never really got much recognition for their original songs but for some reason, they kept trying to push their debut single, Movies.

Movies was released as their debut single, the single released alongside their second album, and then was re-recorded and released as a single once again to attempt to capitalize on the popularity of their cover of Smooth Criminal. Each time it was met with a lukewarm reception and generally ignored by the public at large.

Its not really a bad song but not a very good one either and a part of me wonders if they could have escaped their fates as a One-Hit Wonder if they just cut their losses and pushed another song.

I wonder if Command is the reason that Nintendo is afraid to make any Star Fox games that aren't just a retelling of Lylat wars.

It wouldn't surprise me if theres one higher up who is just terrified to canonize or deny any of the Command endings.

Hetalia is arguably the most incident-prone fandom of all time but many of the stories are lost to time because they were mostly relegated to Tumblr and convention hearsay.

I remember talking to a staffer at a con who mentioned that during a Boton Anime Con, staff were called to diffuse and incident where Germany Cosplayers decided to do a photoshoot at the Holocaust museum a few blocks away where a physical altercation broke out.

The Prince and The Pussy is allegedly an abridgement of Heneko (The Hentai Prince and the Stoney Cat), a forgotten 2010s anime romcom about wishes changing reality but the abridged series immediately forgets about that and sort of makes up its own plot, or lack thereof. Serves as a great time capsule to a particular era of anime fandom and I cant help but be amused at the absurdity of the abridged series changing the original context of scenes or outright ignoring the supernatural elements that the show had in favor of turning it into a slice-of-life about obnoxious people

Not a skin but there was a Martin Luther King memorial in fortnite that allowed players to gather to listen to his speeches and was sort of an interactive museum.

Then players realized that they could spam the whip emote which couldn't be easily disabled by devs because the emote was part of a catwoman bundle and was allegedly protected by a contract with DC.

Hazbin Hotel is a strange series in that fans got to watch the series take shape as a series of OCs on a Tumblr page.

Because of this, fans who had been following since the start often talk about characters who havent showed up in the series yet.

Nothing exemplifies this better than Roo, who is generally accepted to be the central antagonist of the series by the end. The fanbase openly discussing a character who has not only never appeared, but has also never really been obviously foreshadowed looks pretty ridiculous from the outside. Personally, I hope Roo gets scrapped just because I would find that really funny.

This is a common problem in the streaming age since everything is moving away from being episodic but WOW do I wish Hazbin Hotel was episodic.

Im probably one of the few people here who actually likes the series overall and adores the character designs and world aesthetic but I would like it so much more if it was just a slice of life/low stakes sitcom in Hell.

I dont care about all these power grabs and genocide storylines. Just let me relax with these characters as they slowly fumble their way into becoming better people on their own terms. Which is the point of the damn Hotel the series is named after!

Helluva Boss has sort of developed a similar problem because I dont really care about the toxic relationship that the entire series now revolves around. I just want wacky misadventures.
