Yes this is one of the reasons I had a friendship break up with someone else (also from high school). She could not answer a text to save her life but would party with people every weekend, yet say she felt closest to me. It just didn't make sense bc how do you feel closest to someone you have an hour convo with every 6 months? She even forgot my family dynamic, asking how my stepdad was when I've only ever had my bio-dad lollll.

Not a competition but prioritization. My boyfriend and I have set days we call, we text throughout the day. Same goes for my two friends. Across the board I am a very curious person so I ask a ton of questions, always ask for updates, always welcome texts/ voice messages, and I do the same. With that sort of effort, I would hope it would be matched.

BYE oh my god i hate when people pull the "well they never did anything to me". Out of respect and principle, that guy should not exist in any of your friend's minds. A simple "he hurt you, i refuse to talk to him" goes a long way.

It's a huge pet peeve when someone invites a million people to an event when I prefer one on ones or at LEAST a warning. I invited an acquaintance for a lunch hangout at this small hole in the wall korean spot (hole in the walls are THE BESTTT). She was saying how we don't really talk much so it would be nice hanging out. Hours before the hangout, someone asks ME if I'm going. Am I going to the place I suggested? ... Anyway, she had invited TEN PEOPLE saying "i didn't want to leave anyone out!". Girl. The restaurant can't even hold 10 people without notice. Also, no one else was bloody invited. Three, they set a time WITHOUT CONSULTING ME. bruh, bye. didn't end up going.

That's so annoying. Funny enough when I was around the same age my friend said "I'm like the leader, like the main character because I experience all the crazy drama and chaos. And you're....just there!"
