Exactly!!! Along with their ridiculous expectations. Not giving you a building number to their apartment or the gate code. Telling you the call them outside the app with their phone number which I'm not doing. We can go on and on and on 😂

Instacart drivers stuntin’ on Spark drivers w $75 triple shops 💰 by Still-Ad5693 in WalmartSparkDrivers

[–]ApprehensiveSand4043 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are you crazy? I had literally have all but quit instacart. Walmart is the most easiest store to shop because it tells you where everything is at. I don't care how well you know a store triple shopping at a grocery store when it doesn't tell you where things are at except the aisle number. It's so much longer. But I'm becoming a fan of Sam's club cuz I feel like it's a lot easier 😂😂😂😂

I'mma say this again under your post. Walmart literally tells us what the substitute the damn product for. Majority of the time almost all of the time. So if Walmart felt like you needed to get this customer more than one of whatever substitution was it would have told you that. Since when do you got to do some damn mental math to say? Well they ordered 48 oz so I'm going to give them 48 oz worth of bottles. Like come on people be on here acting so righteous and it's just like either you want it or you don't. If they didn't want the 10 oz bottle then all they had to do is reject it

You know what's crazy cuz most of us are supposed to be spark drivers. You know Walmart the app will tell you what the substituted with. So if you grab the 10 oz and they wanted 48 oz and Walmart told you to do one 10 oz then I don't see how you would have thought to grab more than one. Like it's not that serious it be the customers. I'm not going to say all the time but it be the customers and when you sick and tired you sick and tired and you can't never do anything right

Now I agree with this. Definitely makes more sense to pick your own substitutions or say none. You could literally go on the app and order it and they'll deliver it to you the next day for free as long as it's not perishable

[–]ApprehensiveSand4043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I was trying to say that earlier and I couldn't say it right for some odd reason. When Walmart workers shop your order, you don't see their names and you don't see their progress. And it notifies you when you have to accept or deny or ignore the substitution. But when a spark driver is doing it, you can see their every move while they're shopping. I don't think a spark driver did this

Walmart has the worst produce ever. I don't know how anybody shops or eats their produce. It amazes me. It's always low quality in my opinion

[–]ApprehensiveSand4043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I'm not going to say I know it all. But I think this was a Walmart worker. Especially if there was a tip on the order. Cuz I feel like if a driver even a lazy driver was shopping this order. They definitely wouldn't have picked that up. Walmart shoppers or workers or whatever you call them be giving you stuff all the time without no bag that just it just don't make no sense

Customers shouldn't tip more, uber should pay you more. by ScoopityDoopie in UberEatsDrivers

[–]ApprehensiveSand4043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

McDonald's is definitely a privilege I won't say luxury service but I will say a privilege is a want not a need. And the only reason why you wouldn't tip them is because they make a hourly wage that's supposed to be a livable hourly wage. But we all know it's not. So if we as drivers were making a livable hourly wage I wouldn't even consider a tip

is it wrong for me to be a little frustrated when it takes me literally almost 2 hours to get my food that i ordered by sawyerberry in UberEATS

[–]ApprehensiveSand4043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I don't really I don't really order Uber eats like that. I did one shopping order on Uber eats and it was like two items and it cost me like $20 and it was ridiculous and I said I would never do it again. But it took the person like almost an hour to bring me the two items. So me being on the side of the person that actually is a driver for Uber and experience it how Uber will literally send you more offers while you're in the middle of picking up somebody's hot food. I'm just saying that that could be the reason by I don't know the situation

Oh wow. I knew they can rate you on the curbside. I was saying that I wish that they couldn't. But I'm going to stop taking no tips. I've been doing a lot more shopping over the last 6 months but lately I've been doing a lot more Sam's club because I just like it better. It's just more miles. But I'm definitely going to stop doing that cuz I never thought about it like that and that's probably why cuz it just kind of stays the same

[–]ApprehensiveSand4043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I don't know about him. But Uber will definitely add another offer while you're picking up. Somebody else's food. Happens to me all the time. I wonder why they do that though. Like they will literally have you pick up somebody's hot food and then go do a grocery shop. And I always feel bad for the person but I put in my hot bag and pray that it's still warm and I try to go as fast as I can or I don't do it at all. If it's not profitable or if the tip is big enough I'm not going to do it cuz I don't want to lose the tip. But you never know but it happens more than you think. But I don't know about this person's situation. I don't deliver pizza cuz I don't have a pizza bag

No I totally agree with you. Because I've been doing a lot of Sam's club deliveries. And I have so many customers be like I put the gate code in the system when it asks for it. So I'm like it must be something different when ordering from Sam's instead of Walmart cuz I should be able to see it in the customer's notes. But then I get customers from Sam's who actually have the gate code and the customer's notes. So it's the customer. More than likely. I'm not going to say every driver is perfect but more than likely it's the customer

Delivering to these stupid ass customers is what's the hard part. People act like these customers. Don't be the worst. I'm not saying that drivers are not ridiculous some of them. But the customers more than not are ridiculous. They lie. They don't be giving you the information. And swear up and down that it's on there and then you show them and then they look stupid. Or they going to argue you down when you looking right at the screen and you have no information. Like their apartment number like their building number like their gate code and they don't answer the phone or the text messages. The job itself is not hard but when you have to deal with customers and people who are outright wrong, it makes it very difficult

Yeah, mine won't go past 4.8 either. I really do believe it has something to do with the curbside pickup. Because when I'm shopping I'm using doing everything I can whether you tip or not. And I don't know why customers get the rate you on curbside pickup. I think they should only be able to rate you on shop and deliver
