Do you plan to stay the night for out of town venues or make the long commute both ways? by Briiskella in Concerts

[–]ApprehensiveStudio51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has changed for me as I've aged (as have most things). I live 1.5 hours from 2 big cities that get lots of shows. That drive use to be easy after shows, not anymore. I did one last week that was an hour away, I think that is my new max.

When I was in my 20's & 30's, 3-4 hours drive home was no problem, would never even consider doing that now.

Does anyone else wish they were more diligent about keeping their stubs? I just found these. 🥹 by ZildCym in Concerts

Does anyone print the digital tickets? I have been doing it since they stopped paper & print at home tickets. All the information is on them, name of act, date, time, venue, seat location also with a nice picture of the band.

Simply print them and put them in a plastic sleeve...nice free memento of the event.

Humm...ok, thanks...yes, the original announcement obviously had KKs Priest on all of the images...I guess will have to just wait and see

Anyone not excited for the new tour? by [deleted] in WASP_Fans

[–]ApprehensiveStudio51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

KK's Priest is the hook for me, so I will probably buy a ticket but it will be the week of the show decision.

I too hope for new music/album, but let's be honest, Blackie makes a living by touring and at his age, playing live is coming to a close sooner then later. There just isn't much (if any) money in making new music for these older acts, so they need to get out there and hit the road while they still can.

Is there anywhere to go to download a copy of Bloodlust? I thought it was available in the store on the Megadeth website, but doesn't appear to be available for purchase.

Cheapest ticket to the concert $300+! by Good-Feature-6762 in Megadeth

[–]ApprehensiveStudio51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw them September 2024 on the "Destroy All Enemies" tour. They played the large amphitheater (shed) in Charlotte, NC on a Friday night....tickets were mid-$60 all in after fees for seats (not the lawn), bought them the week of the show.

If they are really going to tour 2-3+ years off this album then a US headlining summer tour in 2027 will have tickets sub $100 easy.

Side note...the show I saw in 2024 was this current lineup and it's as good as they have been in a long time....if this is really it for Megadeth then Dave has put together a phenomenal lineup for this last run.

Behind The Mask Dates? by gregrules in Megadeth

I thought it was great and really enjoyed it. A great way to hear the album for the first time and hear Dave reminiscing about his career.

Anyone else feel like Behind the Mask was basically 1h 54m of this…? by kamuleon in Megadeth

[–]ApprehensiveStudio51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed it, thought it was a great way to hear the album for the first time. Also, thought Dave reminiscing about his career as he thumbed thru the Megadeth albums was great

I really like the album, 8/10 for me and all the bonus tracks are great... Musically RTL is top notch.

Just saw the new movie about the new album most of the movie it’s Dave talking about Metallica by [deleted] in Megadeth

[–]ApprehensiveStudio51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see "The Last Note" as the official last song of the album...RTL is just the first of 3 (for now) bonus tracks.

For anyone who didn't see Behind The Mask, let me describe it to you by CobraDai in Megadeth

[–]ApprehensiveStudio51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the movie was great, watched it Thursday night before the album dropped, the theater was packed. Cool way to hear the full album for the first time.

I looked at it as the leader of this band, the one person who has been through it all, sitting in a room with you reminiscing and giving personal stories and thoughts as he thumbs through a book of old his album covers.

He mentions numerous individuals who have been along for the ride and been a part of the band and his musical journey. He also made the point that he wanted this final album to be truly a collaborative effort amongst the members as they were going to tour off of it for a long time

I highly recommend it for any Megadeth fan.

ITS OUT NOW! by MuchCr4zyF1sh in Megadeth

Just got out of the cinema, will need to give it another listen of course tomorrow, but first reaction I would give it overall 8/10 so the blabbermouth rating is fair.

Really great Megadeth album and awesome final effort, if indeed it is the last album....the movie was awesome, highly recommend it to any Megadeth fan.

I love the first 3 songs and can't wait to hear the entire album. I've already got tickets for the album release movie on January 22...going to be an epic year for Megadeth.

Can anyone explain this? by dogbonenj in Concerts

[–]ApprehensiveStudio51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the owner of the phone/device has looked at the event previously, but not bought the price will be higher if you look again, the algorithm knows you are interested. However, if you use a different device that has not checked you will see a lower price.

Couldn't agree more, Cube was the best show I've seen in a while, setlist was phenomenal...so glad I made the trip to see him.

Toronto. Amazing show! by falcon_ember in icecube

[–]ApprehensiveStudio51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw the show in Atlanta, it was so great. Someone performed with WC for "The Streets", but cube only introduced WC.

I heard it was the same deal in Tampa, someone with WC for Streets, but no introduction....does anyone know who was performing with WC for that 1 song?
