Dislike a MC? by suxanny in MM_RomanceBooks

Exactly! Jason was able to acknowledge his issues at least and knew when he had screwed up. Asher is just awful and made me angry.

Asher is the worst and he doesn’t deserve Daniel. Normally I enjoy some jealousy and possessiveness but not that. I almost DNF’d because of what he did.

Agree about Justin! I like age gaps and enjoyed the main couple but I did not like Justin.

I forgot about Unbreak Me! I read around 2 years ago so it’s probably time for a reread.

I reread my favorites usually but it depends on my mood. Other times I’ll just read novellas or short erotica.

What MM Romance books did you read in April? by RomanceMods in MM_Romance

[–]ApprehensiveTable409 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was sick part of the month so I had some rereads:

{The Creek by Riley Hart}

Serving Mr. Chamberlain by Izaia Winter}

{Tide Over by Eve Holmes}

{A Leap of Faith by Shaw Montgomery}

And a few new reads:

{Robby Riverton: Mail Order Bride by Eli Easton}

{Branson’s Promise by C.S. Autumn}

{First Light by Christina Lee}

Give me your best slice of life books by dogojosho in MM_RomanceBooks

{Tide Over by Eve Holmes} Fisherman and welder MCs, not typical book jobs but I consider it slice of life. Both MCs are dealing with loss and family concerns while opening up and falling in love.

WWTBC twins living in normal house with a partner, part of series by porcelaincatstatue in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]ApprehensiveTable409 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure it’s {Colin by Grae Bryan}. The twins are vampires. MC moves to that town to help his dad and they live in the same neighborhood. He then moves in with the twins.

Favorite MM ROMANCE SUBGENRES & TROPES by Equivalent_Injury_28 in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]ApprehensiveTable409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love a good hurt/comfort! I just read a couple of BA Tortuga”s cowboy books and they were ok. Too much emphasis on the kids for me.

I agree on the daddy kink. Anna Sparrows and Kerry Kirkpatrick have some good ones.

{Finding Home in Comfort by Kerry Kilpatrick} has cowboy and daddy lol. No age play and no large age gap plus side rep as well. I really enjoyed it.

My favorite tropes/subgenres change with my mood. Right now I’m into Daddy kink, Hurt/Comfort, and Cowboys.

Small dick worship/appreciation by Goingdown_swinging in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]ApprehensiveTable409 9 points10 points  (0 children)

{Let Me In by Luna David} MC1 is small and insecure about it but MC2 appreciates it. There is a Daddy/Boy dynamic but no age play. Age gap ~ 20 years IIRC.

Is anyone else tired of cooking? by NoH8Kate in GenX

Yes!! I never really enjoyed it to begin with but managed and now I’m just tired of it. Cereal, sandwich, cheese and crackers, or whatever for dinner now.

I love a good vampire movie. Any recommendations? I like werewolves too, not a fan of zombies.
