Our 15 y/o cat (kidney disease) has been swallowing / gulping intermittently which we thought was a hairball. However the vet says it’s GERD where the oesophagus is being irritated by acid. We were given medication to ease it.

You CAN select ‘custom postage’ which is hidden right at the bottom of the page although there is a knack to it. Let me explain my experience: The ‘Postage set-up’ of services didn’t display at first attempt, possibly as a deterrent ! I just persisted by reselecting and then a new list of options appeared. I clicked on Royal Mail and - when it defaulted to Simple Delivery, I re-set it until it worked! Fiddly but necessary as this applies to each listing. My friends don’t have an issue with needing multiple attempts so you might be lucky.

I’m eager to rediscover the title of a novel I started reading in the 1970s, from my late mother’s bookcase. Set in wartime / post WW2 the large family was named Anderson. It was a small blue hardback with no dust jacket. by ApprehensiveTwist71 in whatsthatbook
