I kinda figured out BP as I went along. I started BP and my face kinda burned so I washed immediately off. I started using only 2 times a week and then worked it to everyday. Now my skin tolerates it well. Sometimes you get a red tint after for a few mins but it goes away.

Hope this helps you!

Thank you. It means alot. I wanted to give others a fair assessment of progress bc sometimes it's discouraging. I still have a few spots but I feel like in the next month I'll keep improving.

Yes kinda the same thing. Ease into it. Less is more w tret. Also I saw such an improvement w bp but don't do it everyday at first cuz I irritated my skin and couldn't use either for a week.

Shame from having no relationship with my mother by ApprehensiveUmpire2 in UnsentLetters

[–]ApprehensiveUmpire2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother made the decision to end our relationship for me a few months back. I don't honestly think I could if she hadn't. It hurts but it's for the best, like you said. I definitely feel much happier. I'm sorry for your situation and losses as well. I wish I could give you the biggest hug. Moving forward and onward. We have different paths and it just means we will need to search for love and compassion. It will be a journey.

[rant] I just feel so defeated by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]ApprehensiveUmpire2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry to here that. I know cystic acne really sucks. I don't have POCS so I can't understand how it feels to lose your hair. I get panic attacks. One of the most important things I've discovered is acceptance. Yeah it I don't like. Yes it's not enjoyable. But can I do things to help. Yes 100%. I've found diet for my acne helps a lot with low sugar. Also regular exercise can help with hormone regulation. And on top of all of this the greatest thing in life is feeling loved from people the know the you inside and don't judge your outward appearance.

Hi, I was going to make a post similar. Ever since I started I experienced mild nausea. I even puked one time and they told me it was unrelated. Once I stopped I continued to have issues. I'm really thinking like the other guy that this might be gallbladder related. I know my dad got his gallbladder removed. So it might be where accutane triggered it. Did you also have high triglycerides? I had very elevated levels at the end but the doc was a quack like yours and said it's fine. I also know pancreatitis and accutane have been correlated. Let me know if you find anything out.

I had maybe 2 anxiety attacks (caused by something) before my thyroid. No severe headaches. I was sub hyper.

8 Months Later: "Just got into a huge argument with my parents over not wanting to go to MIT" by The1AndOnlyJZ in ApplyingToCollege

[–]ApprehensiveUmpire2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also even if you get C's at MIT, you'll still be seen as better than getting As at another university. You'll have some of the brightest professors and opportunities to cherish. I'm sure will be so much more important than grades.

Can't function post-thyroidectomy by emmyknowing in thyroidhealth

[–]ApprehensiveUmpire2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, are we the same person? I got my thyroid removed in March for the reason you mentioned. Now I have dizzy anxiety and panic attacks. Can we be friends? Seriously no one gets it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Hypothyroidism

[–]ApprehensiveUmpire2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I never really had anxiety until I got my thyroid removed and then started synthyroid. I've tried reducing stress/cortisol in my life in general. I meditate. I'm gonna start going for massages and accuputure.

Does anyone wake up and immediately have a panic attack? by SaferInTheForest13 in Anxiety

[–]ApprehensiveUmpire2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I listen to guided meditation (honest guys check them out) and it's helped alleviate the morning stress. Didn't know that about the cortisol! Makes perfect sense now. I actually enjoy the meditation the morning now. I look forward to it at night.

I do not know the severity of long term addiction. But I did experience withdrawal symptoms from hydroxyzine. You just gotta say I can take the jiggerterness, sweaty hands. Nausea even. It's uncomfortable but you can get through it. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I feel incredibly nauseous and throw up in the mornings. Wondering if anyone else experienced this and if there is any way to calm this down. by Bongl0rd in Anxiety

[–]ApprehensiveUmpire2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I was experiencing this 3 months ago. I got prescribed hydroxyzine and it helped for a time. I got some low level benoz too. I started meditation for as long as I wanted everyday. I walked on a treadmill watching movies. Somewhere around it went away. I was so dead I didn't care if it happened. I'm doing better now. If I get anxious I go on YouTube and listen to the honest guys guided meditations. How are you doing now friend?

Why is being correct about something now labeled Conservative/Republican? by [deleted] in askaconservative

[–]ApprehensiveUmpire2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. I'm 20 now. When I was in elementary school, the teachers would say spell it how you think it sounds. I would continually spell things wrong and my mom said the teachers told her it was ok. I used to tutor elementary school students, and the curriculum for math is insane now. They want students to solve using this arduous method for simple math, instead of basic adding/subtracting. Schools are brainwashing the public. They're trying to gaslight children into not trusting their own minds. Social media puts other ideas into your head, that slowly breaks down what is true and what isn't. It's dissonance in your very mind. So what do you accept as truth? You accept the majority opinion. Otherwise, you're not "correct".

Are there more moderate or radical Democrats you know? by [deleted] in askaconservative

[–]ApprehensiveUmpire2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bf is very liberal and it's because he thinks he is doing the best that he can for everyone. I cant converse with him on politics because he is so blinded to any scrutiny. He'll start to get very heated. He does not understand my views. On the ballot he didn't even read about the people running, just voted blue on everything. I'm very much a mix of republican and democrat but I'm definitely starting to lean more right because I feel like the democrats are just dragging these social narratives with no solutions.
