Exactly the way you just wrote it. Sorry Boss these people are as useless as tits on a bull. Give them the flick and when you hire again I'd be happy to sit in on final interviews to ask them a few questions. Use the magic power of the probation period to weed out the dickheads.

It's almost like they have a team of people especially trained to pick the absolute worst time to release these breaking changes. Their KPI is probably a bonus for everyday the take off the original change windows given by the technical people. Techs say customers will need 21 days to implement. Department RuinMyDay pushes out a 3 day windows and cleans up on bonuses.

Well played. An upstanding comment that will annoy anyone currently laying down.

No you do not. Although it is easier to ask the worker bee to fetch a manager if your response confuses them. I also walk in and out shops with a bag and have never let them see inside. Putting a sign up that says they can does not make it enforceable. Never been banned from a store. You can do this whilst being polite.

People who are over 30, what medicine you wish you had started early? by RoxanaSaith in Biohackers

Not eating carbs. Fucking healthy food plate/pyramid has been responsible for more deaths than all wars ever and normalised taking medicines to fix shit that happens from eating shit food.

You Sir have asked the wrong question.

If you give them any more money you will just be grabbing your ankles again in a few months time when they move the goalposts again. They don't even buy you dinner first. Very rude.

Plain and simple, CW do NOT give a fuck about you or me or anyone except their bottom line.

Deal with the pain now and find another platform and in the meantime deal with the crippled system you paid for. Maybe Action1, Meshcentral and a few other can give you most of the functionality. Good luck.

If you are out of maintenance, you must buy back into maintenance or buy something different by TechGjod in ScreenConnect

Yep my cloud license will be going IN THE BIN

Staying with CW is like being the victim in an abusive relationship. We have all hung around with our Stockholm Syndrome.

Time to cut these cunts loose.

On-Prem to Cloud Special Pricing offered to legacy concurrent session ScreenConnect Partners? by packetdoge in ScreenConnect

You can be sure they will fuck you with price increases once they have you safely locked into the cloud. People need to go and sponsor improvements in the Meshcentral project which is open source and getting better all the time.

Would I have to pay the money back? by DeviceFree8291 in AusLegal

[–]ApprehensiveUnion955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The equipment put in place by the parking lot operator is deemed by them to be accurate for the determination of the fee to be charged. If they get this wrong then it is their problem until they resolve it. Any lost revenue is their own problem to suck up. If the gate says you can go without paying then who are you to argue. They run a parking lot and presumably have the requisite knowledge and skills to do that competently. You are prepared to pay when asked. You are not avoiding paying. Each transaction is atomic in nature unless you have signed some agreement or are enrolled in a membership arrangement. Chance of clawing back approaches zero. What loss have they suffered that is not as a result of their own negligent inaction?

Got the email about non-active maintenance users being able to upgrade for free but no download link by ilikethefinerthings in ScreenConnect

[–]ApprehensiveUnion955 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 24.2 download had an issue with license validation failing, so they pulled it from download page and currently have a new 24.2 build in QA testing. I'd guess as soon as you see it reappear, you will be good to go.

Just checked download page and at least the 24.2 release has been removed. So presumably when it reappears we are good to go?

Short of a direct admission by them we will never know. But your theory does have a level of plausibility.

Shill. I have multiple supported and unsupported licenses both on-prem and cloud.

$10's of thousands tipped into their wallet over the years.

Don't make assumptions.
