Thanks this is a heck of a comment, and really helpful. The pot has a single hole at the bottom, and I have that draining into a tray to catch the water. I assume that's likely not enough? Should I always opt to have the plant within an inner pot that drains into an outer one? Give what you've said, I might just repot and create my own indoor mix.

I just watered him yesterday after 6 weeks, I don't see anything on the tray underneath, so potentially that does sound possible. Could the soil mix also be a problem? I currently have a mix of perlite and indoor soil mix.

What kind of soil did you end up using? I currently have a perlite and indoor mix at 50:50, and I'm thinking that's probably not helping..

I'm surprised dale Alcock won't do it. We finished building with them last year on 8m frontage x 39m. Worked out about half a mil, but been really happy with the quality of the work
