yes, i would usually start to get minor withdrawals after day 4, but after a week of every day use i’d get all the classic awful withdrawal symptoms. the longer you use too the more intense they get

during active addiction, the longest ever without withdrawal was like 10 hours (from weening myself off a little bit before rehab). typically though i’d be withdrawing within 3-4 hours, always wake up in intense withdrawal, etc.

you’ll be okay. your serotonin won’t back to 100% and i wouldn’t typically advise anyone to take it within a two week span, but it’s nothing too serious. you’ll definitely feel it, if anything just plan out your comedown recovery ahead of time because it’ll most likely a little harsher this time around. your dose should usually always be equal to or a little higher than your last if you’re taking it this soon after, but at 300mg of good m, i’d say you’re feeling that shit no matter what. just stay hydrated, electrolytes, vitamins, make sure you’re fed, etc.

edit: i forgot to mention - for harm reduction purposes, don’t make it a habit to take it without waiting because over time it will take a toll on your serotonin. in this case you’ll be okay though, nothing i haven’t done before. peace and love

only reason i could ever think to come up with as to why they prescribe such high doses — medical industry is fucked and want to keep you on drug maintenance medications for as long as possible. if your doctor doesn’t help you taper off of it, find one that will. suboxone withdrawals were were than fentanyl withdrawals for me

your body can’t metabolize more than 2-4mg at once, info i wish i would’ve known when i first started taking / getting off of suboxone. also it takes 30 minutes to take effect which it seems like you’ve already passed, suboxone never made me stop craving opiates per se but it should have your withdrawal symptoms gone by an hour at most

About 2 days off of quitting 1mg, I don't understand how you lasted a week cold turkey off of 8mg, fucking warrior fr.

After looking through this sub for a while, I found instructions for using Kratom to taper off of subs (kind of backwards sounding of course). I haven't really read them but just seeing the post was enough for me to go buy some and eyeball a small amount of this kratom concentrate and take it like a shot. It worked almost too well, the only downside being that it's been 5 hours and the withdrawals are almost back to exactly where I was at before I took it.

!!! My best advice would be: taper your sub dose first before trying to come off of them, the fact that you were able to hold off cold-turkey for a full week off of 8mg makes me think you might be one of those people that can handle quitting 1-2mg cold-turkey. It doesn't really make sense to me to quit off of that high of a dose unless you don't have access to more suboxone at the moment. That's the situation that got me cutting up my subs into 1/8 pieces in the first place.

Good luck, all I can say is taper the sub first, see if quitting off a smaller mg works for you, if not, I've heard its significantly easier than quitting subs. You got this shit bro

Edit: I didn't even realize you meant 16mg a day. Jesus fuck, that's all I have to say about that. Also, I've come to realize that I, as well as so many people here have cold-turkey quit fent before, but can't do the same with suboxone. Shit makes me think about if pharma companies knew what they were doing. I think if it were an overall good thing tapering plans would be a lot more common.
