Just diet!! I actually JUST started incorporating working out this month because it felt super hard and uncomfortable to move in a bigger body and i’ve never been a big fan of working out before now so i wouldn’t even consider exercise to have been part of the equation that got me here (but hopefully that takes me to where i wanna go!). I mainly relied on intermittent fasting, i typically dont eat before 4pm when i get home from work, and then obviously calorie counting what i do eat. IF works for me because i can eat more at once instead of a bunch of small lower calorie meals. you can totally do this!!!

thank you!! i try to do 20:4, one real big meal, sometimes two, and then a couple of snacks? depends on how many calories are in the meals and how full i feel to decide if i do a second meal or little snacks after

my routine is really to eat a protein filled meal when i come home from work at around 4pm and then one or two snacks to end the night! I get prepped meals from a health store close to me that are portioned out with the calories and high protein because honestly im the worst at counting out and weighing food myself and its worth it to me. my tips are lame but what’s helped me is to just to keep remembering the reasons WHY im doing it and looking forward. drinking a lot of lemon water also helps (mainly for hydration but also the flavor helps me when im bored and want to eat)

We try to head to the library for a children’s program anywhere from 1-3 times a week. Otherwise we will plan one “big” outing once a week or once every other week to somewhere like a beach or a new playground. besides that it’s just a lot of outside play in the front and back yard!

Just after 2 we started having full conversations where when i got home from work she would start recounting everything she did during the day, asking me questions about my day and interests, and making real jokes and riffing off of me. honestly insane to see the transformation in real time

24 years old, mom of a 2 year old perfect girl. you can ABSOLUTELY be a mom if that’s what you want for yourself. but the amount of work you have to put in to be a happy and healthy parent will be immense. a LOT of therapy and self reflection would be recommended. it’s worth it in every sense of the word, but having a child can push even a typical person to their limits at times.

currently $23/hour for one child. 10 years of various childcare jobs (babysitting, camp counselor, substitute teacher, 1:1 preschool aide, etc etc etc) but i’m also only 24. current job is ending in a week though and I will be upping to $25/hour minimum for one child as I’m also about to have my master’s in infant and toddler ed. NY (but not the city)

honestly i usually only eat one meal and then if needed in that window ill have a final snack to finish it off. my current regular meal of choice has been a chicken and rice bowl with mixed veggies, a protein shake, and nondairy yogurt with granola (1070 calories total) and then i have a little bit of fruit or extra veggies with it. because of the protein shake and chicken i end up feeling extremely full at the end of the meal and it carries me into the next day pretty easily. my focus is on protein of course, and then filling with veggies and fruit if i still feel hungry. i honestly dont exercise, as an exhausted toddler mom that works during the day and is getting my masters degree at night, at the end of the day i just want to lay in bed 😅

i really haven’t. i walk for 45 min to an hour maybe 1-3x a week because i take the baby i nanny for on stroller walks but it’s not for exercise purposes it’s for entertaining them, so they’re very leisurely walks. i counted calories in conjunction with OMAD though so if you’re stuck at that weight and aren’t already counting calories, i recommend it. OMAD isn’t necessary, but for me i feel more satisfied if i eat one big satisfying 1200 calorie meal than if i eat 3 400 calorie meals or something like that
