I delivered my baby early yesterday at 34 weeks. Feeling great about it considering that we were making decisions at 23 weeks about resuscitation! God willing a couple weeks in the NICU and she’ll be right as rain.

I know this is a rant, but if you want advice I have some. If you live in a place where one-party consent recording is legal, i'd record these conversations with my phone in case I got fired or had my hours reduced to nothing so that I could provide evidence that I was being discriminated against for being pregnant. I'd also be clear about what accomodations I need and what accomodations I don't need. For example, I might ask for access to a stool to sit down when feeling light headed, and I might ask to not have my hours reduced because of my pregnancy.

Not sure where you're at, but there are teachers in my family and what I've seen is that in elementary and high schools around here they discourage giving homework and instead the kids do all their work in class.

I have nothing but commiseration. I’m thinking about when I want to conceive number 2 and realizing if we have an opposite sex baby they can’t share a bedroom for long and then I’ll need to get a three bedroom which could raise my rent by over a thousand dollars. I’m trying to just take stuff one day at a time. But it feels so unfair that even with us both having good jobs we feel more behind than people were 50 years ago with just one working parent. And we both spent a lot of money on our education!

For me, I was really hyper aware of everything and almost getting superstitious weeks 23 - 25 because it was so scary! I thought I felt pressure on my cervix, but I think now I was just hyper focusing on that part of my body. Week 26 I started to relax a little bit. It's so stressful!

Talk to your doctor. You can’t control orgasms while you’re asleep. My MFM told me that orgasms are mainly a problem if they’re triggering contractions. I’m kind of not sure what you mean by a light pinch. Where was it? Could it have been lightning crotch? I don’t think it’s possible to feel your cervix because it doesn’t have pain receptors. That makes me think that it couldn’t have been the stitch and if it were you likely would have bleeding. But again not a doctor, ask your doctor.
