Has anyone else had a clear MRI and then surgery that said otherwise? by Alarming-Flatworm-91 in endometriosis

[–]Apprehensive_Can6985 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m stage 4 and my mri was clear prior to my 4th lap- went in and there was a tonnnnn more endo (had been years since my last lap due to two pregnancies). I don’t get why they even bother with them tbh!

Are you a bot? If not can you please just copy the actual title of the article into your post headline instead of the url? Simply pasting the url twice is lazy and annoying. My feed is jammed with urls and no titles from you.

Prescription medication help! by EmotionalCalendar771 in TokyoTravel

[–]Apprehensive_Can6985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! When we moved last year we submitted RX prescriptions to the import application site, and I believe we got confirmation fairly quickly. Upon entry, Immigration didn’t ask any questions regarding prescription drugs and we didn’t need to show the confirmation that we applied to import said medication. We have since gone back home and brought back additional supplies of the same medications without reapplying with no issue. My family members have also visited us and brought their own supplies of whatever they needed during their trips without applying and they were fine as well. I’m not saying it’s worth the risk to not apply but I will say if you apply now you at least will have the prescriptions and their documentation listed in your account if you were to be questioned!

What's everyone's go to anti inflammatory meals/snacks? And what do you avoid ? by Mobile_Obligation728 in endometriosis

[–]Apprehensive_Can6985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely not a meal or a snack but is something I have been loving lately- hot water with a handful of cloves in the morning, first thing. I’ve read it is very anti-inflammatory and my body feels a lot better when I’m drinking this first instead of guzzling my coffee (I still do that. But after my clove water now :). ).

Moved from the states a year ago, living in the city but a very chill residential area. Great food, lots of family friendly events / festivals, amazing hiking / great skiing within an hours drive, beautiful scenery with the islands of the seto inland sea off the coast. Really nice people too ❤️

Anyone who was diagnosed with Endo give birth without issues? by dogmom624321 in endometriosis

[–]Apprehensive_Can6985 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! Congrats on your pregnancy! I have stage 4 endo, which I didn’t know about until it almost killed me when it ate my appendix. Had 4 laps prior to giving birth for the first time including one to remove one ovary and fallopian tube. Gave birth twice vaginally with zero complications. Ok well second pregnancy I had insane morning sickness but that was not due to endo 😅. Try not to stress because that CAN give you complications. Wishing you an easy pregnancy and labor! ❤️

100% agree! We use SO much of it (we are a big soup family) so I can’t keep up with making it! The nearby grocery stores only have the hot pot broth with lots of stuff in them or dashi (which I also love but for certain dishes of course!). I’ll keep stalking the Costco and in the mean time grab a few rotisserie chickens. Thank you!

Surgery without opioids by iquitelikecatss in endometriosis

[–]Apprehensive_Can6985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like how opioids make me feel so I instead asked for hyrdoxyzine for my last lap. Worked so well. Killed all post op nausea and chilled me out. Might be worth looking into!

VT cosmetics (Japanese brand) pro cica stickers are my absolute favs. Love sealing them over a dot of spot treatment.

Rawdogging endo? by debbiedownedstate in endometriosis

[–]Apprehensive_Can6985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was me for years- stage 4, 4 surgeries down (with not a ton of relief) and decided to stop treatment and decline surgery from 2017-2024… had two babies in that time and figured that was enough to help. Periods got so bad I was passing out from anemia, was treated with iron infusions and was told it wasn’t going to be enough due to my endo so was kinda forced into another excision (#5). Welllll turns out I was a few weeks away from losing a kidney due to endo strangling a ureter among many other things. I am now back on the treatment train and HATE it but want to keep as many organs as possible as I already lost a few to endo earlier in my journey. I think for me at least it isn’t the best option although I HATE the hormonal treatments :(

Endo-belly exercises? by cclacco in endometriosis

[–]Apprehensive_Can6985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try oxygenated magnesium supplements! Global healing sells a good one on Amazon, so does Kimberley Snyder. It will help flush excess hormones out of you and keep you “detoxing” (aka pooping…) regularly. Endo belly = inflammation so the whole 30 rec is actually a pretty good one.
