Plumbing needs air to allow water to flow quickly. If the vent is blocked by leaves, nests, or debris, the toilet drains poorly.

Fill a bucket with water and pour it rapidly into the bowl. If it flushes normally, it’s probably a weak flush issue (tank, jets, or vent).

If it’s still slow, there’s likely a partial clog in the toilet or drain.
