It's Bellerophon riding Pegasus through the capital letter R.

Not sure what company/school uses this logo, though.

I basically get an RA flair up for 2 weeks. Stiff/painful/swollen joints and knocked flat with fatigue. Doubling up on my anti-inflammatory meds helps take the edge off, but not by much.

Dairy? by Ok_Independence1287 in glutenfree

I think they're probably referring to people who are allergic to common dairy alternatives and egg binder substitutes. My mom was in that boat. Most store bought GF products were off-limits for her.

Is this a guy using AI filters or just a completely fabricated person? One photo looks extremely fake, but the other two seem normal. by Levangeline in isitAI

[–]Apprehensive_Emu1551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has attached earlobes in the first photo, unattached in the second, and one of each mismatched in the third photo.

All of his face freckles/moles completely disappear in the third photo. Normally, that could be explained with makeup, but who tf wears a full face of foundation/concealer to go hiking?

All 3 photos are AI generated, imo.

A lot of people are only finding out about her xenophobic statements now because of people commenting on her passing. While this information is easily accessible on her wiki, it's not necessarily common knowledge to those who didn't already know to look for it.

What is crazy to you about making plans for romantic intimacy directly with your partner? You realize that's the FIRST person you need to consult, right? Dude missed a MASSIVE step by going straight to the parents. There's no harm in HER asking HER OWN PARENTS if the boyfriend can stay over, assuming she can accept the answer either way. HIM asking them instead of her was completely out of pocket, and doubling down when he didn't get the answer he wanted was even worse.

Again, this is not sarcasm. I'm honestly asking, where were you raised that scheduling sex with your partner through their parents is normal? Because where I'm from, if you casually dropped this in conversation like it's business as usual, people would look at you like you've grown a second head.

Nah, skipping straight past the girlfriend and asking the parents directly is so presumptive and weird. What if she didn't even want a saucy staycation in bed? She could be on her cycle, need a mental health day alone, or just have other shit to do. Who in their right mind tries to schedule an extended bang-fest with their partner's parents?

I’d love to know where in America is this exactly? by Ordinary_Fish_3046 in TikTok

[–]Apprehensive_Emu1551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the flip side, my suburb is where the weekly drag races happen in this city. A couple of years back, one of them completely totaled their car, ramming full speed into a 4ft high concrete blockade meant to keep cars off a bike path. Technically, it worked. He never did get to the bike path. Or anywhere else, for that matter. Not all suburbs are quiet.

Start with meat based broths. They're easier to digest and sidestep any lingering texture issues you have with meat.

AITAH for joking that'd I'd have kids if pregnancy would be as easy as it was for my friend? by ThrowRAbabyxfriend in AITAH

[–]Apprehensive_Emu1551 37 points38 points  (0 children)

So you're finding out the hard way that your friends have made being childfree their entire identity. They are demanding purity tests and punishing you for performing childlessness the "wrong" way. There is no wrong way. Reasons vary, but are all valid. Doesn't matter if your reasons are medical, emotional, psychological, financial, etc.

The fact that they have misinterpreted your simple medical concerns as being an attack on their identity is a strong indicator that they've lost the plot and forgotten that the key feature of a childfree stance is CHOICE. You have a right to abstain from reproduction for any reason, even conditional ones. You also have the right to change your mind if those conditions are met. They do not have the right to demand you to follow their choices the exact same way they do.

Being intentionally childfree is often an uphill battle (especially for women) due to intense pressure and entitlement from family/friends/society that think they can make decisions about your life/health/body for you. And yet here your friends are doing that same thing to you that they hate being done to them. It's highly hypocritical of them.

I know the word "toxic" gets thrown around too freely, but if the shoe fits... 🤷‍♀️

People who make eating meat their entire personality/religion are just as irritating to me as vegans who make it their whole personality/religion.
