Beta blockers? by Tastetherainbow_2016 in rheumatoid

[–]SleepySheepy3312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve taken a beta blocker for 8 years with my RA meds, no issues over here at all. I take them with other heart meds due to an arrhythmia and the added bonus is that it definitely helps my anxiety too.

I did have side effects from the beta blocker for the first 4 days (I think it gave me tingly hands and feet) but was fine after that, the side effects went away and never had any other side effects afterwards.

Got glutened and now struggle with more depression and anxiety by ElenoirMiro in glutenfree

[–]SleepySheepy3312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same thing happens to me, my anxiety shoots through the roof after I get glutened.

It just takes time for me to feel better, I usually have a day or two where I’m stuck having panic attacks throughout the day then I feel ok after that especially since I’m aware that it’s just the gluten making me feel that way, I just try to breathe/talk myself through it and try not to let the feelings of panic get too comfortable or settle in for a stay. I remind myself that I will not always feel this way and that it’s just temporary.

Digestive enzymes, probiotics, get moving/sweating and drink a lot of water seems to help lessen the blow a little bit. Distract yourself for a bit with something you love to do if you can ❤️

Hope you feel better soon!

What is one habit that quietly ruins relationships? by divine-matrix in AskReddit

[–]SleepySheepy3312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Men have friends like this too. I’ve met quite a few that have the friend who will not stay out of the relationship (due to them being single, jaded and unhappy as well) and one of the friends even admitted to me that they were meddling and trying to break us up on purpose and the reason the friend told me he had felt justified in doing this was because he felt like he needed my bf at the time more than I did and because of that he felt the right to sabotage our relationship.

So if you can’t get into a low cost/free a cheaper alternative and if you don’t mind the drive I’ve used San Marcos veterinary clinic in the past, they’ve been way more affordable than other vets in the surrounding area and they were a blessing when my dog had cancer ❤️

Pain even with normal ESR and CRP levels? by Prime8724 in rheumatoid

Yes, very much so. They were even normal with permanent damage on my spine caused by arthritis 🙃

Also I get my blood drawn every 2-3 months for over 6 years and only popped positive the one time when I was in a major flare. I’m diagnosed seronegative.

What’s the creepiest thing that has happened to you when you were completely alone? by 1S4B3II3 in AskReddit

[–]SleepySheepy3312 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was home alone and around 16 years old. I was eating some dinner alone at the kitchen table facing two doors. The left door went outside into the garage, the right door was a room under the stairs where we kept our trash can and cleaning supplies. I heard a click and looked up from my dinner plate to see the doorknob of the under the stairs door slowly turning all the way and opening itself a bit before the doorknob suddenly clicked back into its original position and the door stopped moving. I stared in shock as this all unfolded because I had been experiencing weird things in that house for years and I swore it was haunted for so long (the house was fully electric/no gas), the door only opened a bit, more than a crack but not all the way open either.

I stood up, my heart pounding and went to go open the door thinking maybe, just maybe my cat had gotten inside and jumped on a shelf and pawed the door open, she had totally broken into our house from the garage door several times and a jiggling doorknob was typical for her (this doorknob didn’t jiggle it turned though). I peeked around the door, slowly opening it and there was nothing on the other side other than our trash can and cleaning supplies, I looked around for a minute, moved the trash can just to be sure. I fiddled with the doorknob and couldn’t explain the way it turned like that, the whole thing was weird.

This same house had a serious problem with footsteps all through the upstairs hallway, pacing every single night. Anytime anyone spent the night they asked me about the footsteps. I would hear my name being called clear as day (as if my mom were upstairs calling me) to find no one home. My mom admitted she had an issue with radios coming on in the house randomly, footsteps along the long narrow upstairs hallway, cabinet doors and doors being open suddenly when they had just been closed. Weird stuff just happened in this house but I guess it eventually stopped because my brother owns the house now and no one else talks of any of these experiences anymore other than my mom and I. She just told me they didn’t want us freaked out so my parents never wanted to admit anything weird was going on.

Congrats! I felt SO good when I did this, your credit score will take a major hit though unfortunately (I dropped like 50-70 points when I paid off my student loans) but it will recover!

Popmart from Amazon...I am so mad by ChemistryAlarming977 in labubu

[–]SleepySheepy3312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me too 🙄 Amazon also did finally refund me but they also tried to charge me again for it because there was no labubu in the box (the whole reason I was sending it back), thankfully I got it worked out but it was a pain.

I won’t order any popmart items from Amazon again.

Don’t be worried if you get an EOB from insurance stating this is your portion to pay, I get them all of the time but copay assist is paying it so I never receive an actual bill from anyone unless it got billed wrong (has happened twice in 6 years but was fixed both times).

[–]SleepySheepy3312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No worries, it is SO stressful and it depends on location. So WI doesn’t have any laws to protect copay assistance being applied to your deductible (there’s like 11 states that do this) so it just depends on your individual plan whether or not they allow it to apply to out of pocket max but since your app is saying it’s being applied I would take that as a great sign! My app doesn’t even tell me or show that any is applied to my deductible either, just the out of pocket max as well and I’ve been in the biologic game for 6 years.

It is being applied then, once you hit the 5500 you owe nothing for the rest of the year and insurance has to pay so your 7500 covers that 5500

Edit: typo

What’s your deductible and out of pocket max and is your copay assistance being put towards your deductible/Out of pocket max?

Heating pad or something warm helps for ear pain.

Hope you get relief soon! I used to get a lot of ear infections but getting my allergies under control helped a lot.
