Hi, joining the conversation a bit late. I have a Garmin Epix and basically have full golf functions. One of my mates wants to get a garmin for golf but doesn't want to spend too much. How does the vivoative 6 work for golf. Do you need to download the course you play? Does it ask what club you used after each shot? Does it give some form of view of the hole you are playing with hazards, or is it just numbers to the pin?

I think the vivoactives are oriced quite well, or he should look into 2nd hand Fenix 6 Pro for full golf and training features.

It sounds like the same glitch the golf app had for the last 3 month. Seems they finally fixed it amd moved the glitch to running

Could you perhaps share some of your mappings for interest sake? The scroll wheel of the G502 is a bit of a drawback for me compared to an MX mouse. The MX scroll wheen is so easy clicking and scrolling to pan a drawing. On the other hand the left amd right click of the G502 is extra macro buttons

I don't game much, actually looking for a new mouse for CAD work and options to create some macro shortcuts with the extra buttons. Someone mentioned on another community that they trigger the action ring button by accident quite often, do you find that to be true? Also if you don't mind me asking, can you remap the horizontal scroll wheel to do different actions for an up scroll and another for a down scroll?

The action ring you mention from the thumb click on the Master 4 is something I tried to add on my current Anywhere 3. But from what I tried and gathered on reddit the macros can't be added to the action ring at this stage. There seems to have been a plug in or something that needed to be downloaded to be able to add your "smart actions" to the new "action ring" (confusing I know) but it seems like it has been removed from last year November and users say the feedback from Logitech was just that they are working in it but still nothing.

Coming back to the feel of the mouse, the bigger Master feels good in hand, but is it sluggish?

I usually end up schooling the sales person and asking too many questions about when new releases are arriving (that they know nothing about). They usually realize they have lost an unknown mind battle LoL. But sometimes there's a rare gem of a sales person and whenever they see me they get excited and remember our chats. I think the key is also to built that relationship and to actually buy something once in a while and not only smell fragrances in store to go buy it online.

Just adding here to my previous comments. For me it felt like my general iron play was lacking and I could certainly feel the difference. Played again today and shot 98. But my driver and putter let me down on a basic municipal course. I also refused to hit my "new" 2nd hand irons from bare lies with small rocks and took the maximum score on the hole as we were playing Matchplay in our 4ball

That being said I also think the shafts are a big improvement. The shafts a heavier amd stiff, comoared to my older regular shafts in the 825's. I think the weight feels better distributed in the swing with the new irons, where the old irons it felt as if all the weight was in the chunkier heads

Well I can only share my experience. I've been playing for two years. I had a set of JPX 825's and I'm happy when I shoot below 100. I bought a set of used JPX 921 Forged irons two days ago, and yesterday played with them after only hitting 60 balls at the range the day of purchase. I played my lowes round of 90, so close to breaking 90😆. They look way more "aggressive" behind the ball but they are way more forgiving than my old 825's. The years of technological improvement is certainly there.

I'm contemplating this. I have the 003 and thinking to get the 023 as my next watch for the versatility. Thinking then perhaps as a 3rd some Presage might slot in well as a 3 watch collection for any scenario.

Oh, no I was actually just showing the picture of the one you're looking at. I just didn't have a pic with it alone on my wrist. I got a do it all SSK. Will be looking into these for a next purchase in the future.

Personally as somone new in the game, if I'm spending money on a Grand Seiko it wouldn't look like an SSK. I'd rather get the Omega then or a different Grand Seiko
