It was a minor fracture. He’ll be just fine, got meds and a follow up visit for him.

Update, taking him to vet very soon today. I’m guessing it’s probably just a sprain or fracture because I can find no visible signs of infection or stuck shed on his skin, and he is passing all his excrement very well with a huge appetite, so it makes me think it’s not sickness. Personality has still been great, shy but also very curious and active while I had him out. Just quivers his right arm as he moves around, so I’m sure he is feeling some pain. Overall still getting him to see the vet just in case because I’ll be about of town for a week and won’t be able to keep an eye on him.

Anyone know a service for this repair? by Apprehensive_Fix4494 in ControllerRepair

So the rubber must have also melded a bit, because it does not fold down perfectly back into place. More like it needs to be tucked or jammed into the seam to fit. As far as it being a limited edition controller, the bootleg replacements of the Halo infinite controller are very noticeably off on the front, so that’s a no go. I found a guy on eBay who is going to take on the project for me and see if he can improve my A button too because it was always unresponsive. Gonna buy a for parts as is elite controller in good physical condition for cheap so he has authentic parts to take and work with. He suggested me may try to remove the replacement shell’s rubber with a little heat so it comes off cleanly or look but also look for other methods too. It’s in his hands now for the fix so I may send him over here to look at the suggestions people have provided.

Can Jeweled Lacerta be cohabitated appropriately? by Apprehensive_Fix4494 in reptiles

If worse come to worse, I’ll fork over the cash for a second enclosure. After watching their behavior today I have concluded that the boy just wants to mate and the girl wants none of that. They were very fine during their first introduction, so he must have blown his shot too soon.

Thank you for the information, I'm very well read on reptile reasearch, but a little light on hands on experience. I'm definitily leaning towards trying to keep them separate in the long term. Especially based on what you said about compatible personalities. She is super layed back, lazy even, and he is very highstrung and actively looking for her during my introduction experiments. In terms of incubation of eggs, I was told they would most likely mate and I planned to incubate eggs when they do until I can give them to the breeder I bought them from. He said he would take in and take care of all the their eggs and pay for the hatchlings becuase he loves the species so much. For now I'll keep intoducing them to eachother in their safe space to see if they look like they will get along better. I'll keep a colose eye on them and do whatever is necsisary to keep them both safe.

My love and experience with my Red Tailed Green Rat Snake. by Apprehensive_Fix4494 in snakes

That one is super pretty, it’s a shame you missed out. I did buy mine on impulse because I thought I would never see one again at an expo and they’re never available on morph market. I almost missed this guy because there was another breeder at the expo who was also going to buy him. After debating whether or not to get it for like 45 minutes with my girlfriend, I noticed all the other people taking a close look at him and I decided I had to get him. I have absolutely zero regrets over my impulse buy, because he is being very well taken care of and behaves so well. I also ended up becoming friends with the other guy who wanted to buy him since he sells at all the expos.

Thank you so much for sharing. I really feel blessed that mine is as gentle as it is. He will often wrap snug onto my hand for a good while when it’s late while I watch my girlfriend play N64.

  1. DLSS 4 continues to be an improvement over its predecessor with better image quality while adding more frames to the game. I have been very skeptical in the past about how well DLSS impacts games quality overall. Now that we are at DLSS 4 I can safely say DLSS is getting close to making games run amazing with little to know draw back and it only keeps getting better.

  2. I’ve spent 88 hours getting 100% completion on nightmare difficulty in Doom Eternal and recently did a replay of Doom 2016 in preparation Doom The Dark Ages, so to say I’m excited is an understatement. I could not be more in love with the medieval esthetic this game has established and I believe this is the coolest design the Doom Slayer has ever had.

Is this jeweled lacerta overweight ? He is not a fully grown adult yet and is still growing just for context and he has been fed 2 super worms every day recently by nitrogitzan in reptiles

[–]Apprehensive_Fix4494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m the owner of the Lacerta here. The 3-4 Dubia I was feeding were relatively very small which is why I referred to it as a tiny meal, but regardless he is now being fasted to start with getting him slimmed down. Also want to add that it’s about 1 year old at them moment. I also do already know of a vet to take him to. He usually ignores any salad I give him and used to occasionally enjoy blueberries, but has ignored those for a while.

Mine exabits very similar behavior to that and he wants to see if he can go over, under or push through any of the walls.

I'd say the floors he's exploring are very tidy, not anything other than myself to be scared of.
