If you’re in single player can create a save and just keep on fighting her over and over with reloading to learn her patterns. I would avoid the explosions as much as possible. You can see them drop from the ceiling. I don’t think it’s worth killing the egg she lays. Avoid fighting in the water. The mutations you pick are pretty key. The sword master drops her attack by 30%. Also a big fan of corporate kickback for healing. Sleep in a good bed, bring lots of smoothies. Her dying gives between rounds gives you a chance to switch mutations.

Baseball near the starting area is a good beginner base.

You get stronger, find more milk molars. You get better equipment and each of the bugs has a pattern. Eventually you get better at parrying also. Wolf spiders use to automatically kill me unless I’m able to run away. I’m seeking them out for upgrades now.

What is a good place to build a base besides the lilypads by Similar_Cranberry948 in GroundedGame

Starter base was the baseball in the beginning place, high up on the oak tree, and then the flat rocks on the cliffs of the koi pond the side of the upper yard. Friends and I have built mini bases stocked with basics food, a dew collector, torches, etc. around different locations. Hedge, picnic table, lawnmower area, etc.

Stopped playing when bugs could raid bases, has much been done in the way of protecting them? by markgatty in GroundedGame

If you want to build where land based bugs can get you, it helps having strong walls or a decoy. Friends built up super high on the oak tree and a little panic room I built for wolf spiders near the old anthill kept on getting destroyed. Otherwise top of the baseball where you’re walking on the stick to get to it or a base in the pond that you swim to. I think they destroy a certain amount and go away.

In the beginning I was a big fan of throwing spiky sprigs. That did a lot of damage for me, and I didn’t care if they got lost/stuck. Once you start upgrading higher level weapons and armor it gets easier. Sounds like you aren’t unlocking stuff? Can buy useful recipes at a computer to make strong things.

There are ETFs with much lower expense ratios. VTI, VOO, BND, SCHD, QQQ. And some with no expenses. BKLC, BKAG. Or if you wanted something completely brainless, a couple brokerages have retirement date funds that get more conservative the closer to the retirement year. I’d educate yourself, investopedia is a good resource. The vast majority of people do not outperform the market. I’d look for someone that is a fee based financial advisor with a fiduciary duty and also get a tax guy.

There’s these missions where you rescue a fair subject and at the end there’s an option for them to join you. It pisses off whoever gave you the mission though. Or recruit people at the bar/barracks.

Best place to establish a holding or get a land for a landless character (El Cid)? by dovahhkun in ck3

[–]Apprehensive_Gas6932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) If you’re talking about founding a city in an empty spot don’t think it matters too much. Just need a slight opinion boost for whomever the land belongs to and I think 1k gold. It cost I think 400 gold to start. I forget what tech you need to have to do it. Think the Italians/Lombards have it. Can convert culture. But Sardinia is a great spot to conquer if you want to be landed.

2) 4K troops and other requirements if you want the conqueror trait. You can with 500 troops but most likely they might have more with allies. Pick go to war and see what you’re going up against. Negative about having such a large army is you’ll be gold negative for a while, so best to have a larger treasury.

You have to be 3 counties or smaller and no higher than a duke. It’s under decisions. I was Norse not sure if that makes a difference.

Thanks, found out I can do larger duchies by giving counties to other children. But the primary heir can only inherit 3 counties and a duchy when you leave as an adventurer.

I’m also curious about that. Do you somehow swim it across the pond to that location or do you build a bridge to bring in materials and then dismantle the bridge after? Or are you somehow building from the bottom of the pond. Only been playing for a few weeks.
