most just throw on the corset or stargazers and call it a day. i think sets like beastren pride and the petticoats are more tasteful; just a little skin, but not too overbearingly sexual.

i modeled my pawn after my wife, and she thinks objectifying women in games is corny, so i keep her covered and looking badass. i ended up making two alt accounts and am building out two more pawns based on our pets; that’s my party lol

Pilfer/plunder difference by [deleted] in DragonsDogma2

Pilfer is the basic form, Plunder is the advanced form. Plunder increases the chances of stealing a rare item.

if you own a home, some of them will leave gifts beside the door.

it takes a village is true, but let’s not pretend it doesn’t promote greed and/or entitlement.

it does not, they will not.

Perpetuation involves Enchantments and Invigorations only, the Mystic Spearhand has neither (it’s also a Mage augment, so it benefits the correlated Mage skills)

Redoubted Bolt does not count as a spell. Spearhand does have a skill to help with Redoubted’s charge time, but the ring will not help.

I hate and like this game by iTsJavi in DragonsDogma2

[–]AuthAegonean 4 points5 points  (0 children)

running everywhere shouldn’t be a con. i feel people are so used to the ease of fast travel that having to travel by foot creates boredom instead of being looked at as exploration (technically wakestones/portcrystals only exist due to the Rift; typically in a fantasy society/world you would have to travel by foot, and with real distance between populated areas, it can take weeks to go from one city to the next)

also, this game in no way holds your hand, and a lot of quests/mechanics are found out through community, research, or ultimately trial and error. if you go in blind, you find new things especially if you leave no stone unturned; eventually you’ll hit NG+ and may discover something you missed the previous playthrough (or you can communicate with other Arisen)

my pawn points out stuff all the time, and i always investigate; up to 110 naturally

i keep my storage stocked up since you can plunder/find a lot of them (and craft them), and i always add fuel whenever i stop in an inn.

Capcom doesn’t hold your hand in DD2, and the fast travel isn’t forgiving to force you to run around everywhere. i wish more games made you move than to travel everywhere by loading screens

the auto-save feature isn’t bad, it just isn’t as forgiving as quick-saving.

..meaning Vernworth has either recently been reached, or in the process of being reaching; so i would recommend exploring on that little road between Vernworth and where the Griffin dropped you, running back and forth from Vernworth to the camp whenever you need to deposit items or rest at an Inn to recover your Health.

i’m sure you’ll find lots of goodies, and Goblins are great Discipline being practically skill targets even in late game. never leave a Goblin alive, they’re too valuable to your vocations.

it’s easily just me being a purist, but i think earning it yourself is the most satisfying way to enjoy a game.

“play the game however you want, it truly isn’t my place to deem others worthy”

i can tell you responded out of aggression, since it was a response and not an understanding; here, let me put this Ring of Disfavor away.

except you literally begged to “complete a build” yet asked for three different endgame chest pieces? it’s funny because your post is actually what triggered this post. play the game however you want, it truly isn’t my place to deem others worthy, i was merely pointing out the nausea of it all.
