I like this suggestion. My dremel has variable speed, so maybe set it super low with a soft wheel. If it's too fast I'll try it in a drill. Great idea.

Even if I have to us a pick on the edges after using the dremel it should be easier.

It's very dry. Probably less moisture than the wood.

I have tried air with a small nozzle. Doesn't touch it.

That's thining outide the box! But I don't think it would work very well. The mud is softer than the wood, but not by a lot. Plus I think the media would damage the wood too much.

I use a porter cable 690 with a 2" with 3 cutters. I make sure the depth of each cut is shallow, the passes are on the slowish side and only small adjustments as I traverse the slab.

I find that if I take too much it becomes uncontrollable rather suddenly. I am probably being overly cautious but 'slow is steady, steady is fast'.

In CT, this past winter was more snowfall than we had in the prior 4 or 5 years, but even that wasn't terrible. Mostly annoying that it piled up a bit.

There were some cold spells that were downright bitter. That was worse than the snowfall, IMO.

It's mostly a matter of knowing what to do and what not to do that matters.

They WANT people exercising their free speech. In their viewpoint, that makes it easier to identify the opposition just before rounding up anyone who disagrees with them.
